Melt Bar and Grilled

Next level grilled cheese! So many different options there is something for everyone. I had the Wet Hot Buffalo, daughter had the Hot Italian, and my husband had the Chicken and Waffle. They were all good but the Chicken and Waffle sandwich was AMAZING! Portion sizes are large and sandwiches come with fries so the 1/2 order is plenty! Highly recommend!!

My partner and I recently had food delivered from Melt Bar, and we had a very mixed experience. The first time we tried ordering the restaurant stopped accepting Door Dash orders while we were creating our order, even though it was hours until closing time. The next time my partner ordered, but the restaurant cancelled it, even though a delivery driver was waiting for the food at the restaurant. Finally we managed to get the food delivered on the third attempt. We ordered one vegan half chorizo & potato sandwich (no fries) and one regular half chorizo & potato sandwich (with fries). We were given two of the vegan version (and no fries). I did not like the sandwich at all, which may have very well been due to receiving the vegan version. I also ordered Fried Oreos, which I had been craving. These were the worst Fried Oreos I've ever had. I didn't know it was possible to mess them up so badly. My partner liked her food, so I'm rating 3-stars to account for that.

I wish I took a picture of my food at the restaurant, but here's the leftovers. 🤗 This wasn't my first time at the Melt so I've already tried a few different sandwiches there before, but this time I figured I would try out something from the mac and cheese menu. I ordered the chicken & gravy pot pie mac and cheese and I was surprised at how good this was! Next time I go to the Melt, I'll probably try something BBQ-related from the mac and cheese menu. Other than that, my fiance and I ordered the seasonal bread pudding for dessert and OMG. 🤯 It was phenomenal! It was spice cake with icing, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream. 😫 I would go here again just for that lmao The decor here is cute and the location is easy to find. However, there is typically a wait. If you can, go to the bar so you don't have to wait 25+ minutes to be seated at a table. Also, expect the spend around $15-20 per person for just food.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere and decor was very creative and abstract. The walls are decorated with paintings and those hard light up lawn decorations that you out out at Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. We we here on a Sunday and arrived around 3:40pm. It was not crazy busy but the place was definitely hopping. We were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. We got our drink order and appetizer ordered about 5 minutes after being seated. Once we ordered it was roughly 30 minutes later and the waitress came over to us and stated that she didn't know what happened but it seems our order didn't get placed... so we reordered our food. It then took another 25 minutes to arrive at our table. The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every bite. When the waitress brought the check, I expected there to be some sort of automatic discount due to the staff members error. There was not. When she came back to collect my payment I simple asked her, "due to the long wait and mix up with getting the order placed, is there anything that we can do"? To which she responded, "yes absolutely, let me check on that". When she returned she stated they had removed one of our meals as an apology for the mistake. That was very much appreciated and we thanked her for it. Overall the experience was great, I will definitely return as there were so many great things on the menu that I would love to try!

We've been several times to both Columbus locations and prefer this Easton location for ease of access and free parking. Food was good, as usual as was service. Like many others, their prices have gone up, so be prepared to spend, but the servings are ample and we usually have leftovers to take home.

Melt is such a cool delicious sandwich restaurant! I have tried a new sandwich almost every time I've been there! I love checking out their specials and especially love smashing on the Cowabunga TNMT sandwich! It's pizza rolls atomic basil marinara and basil pesto sauce cream cheese and romano and I always add the pepperoni!!! Also they always have a great selection of bourbon and some cool selections on tap (I love ciders and sours) which I don't find at a lot of restaurants!

Been here several times! Always a good experience. Expect a wait if you visit at peak times (the food is worth it, though)!

45 min wait, it happens. Then seated waited another 45 min. Food came out like warm, messy, lacking flavor and items that were supposed to be on the sandwich. Fries were lukewarm warm and one of the plates were basically crumbs of fries. Disappointing for spending almost two hours there for below par service and food.

Wow! We came to this place from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area JUST for the Monte Cristo and we weren’t disappointed! If you’re hungry and you want it fried, it’s probably here. Highly recommend the fried Mac and cheese. Awesome local beer selection as well.

We've been to Melt several times and it's one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we go to Columbus. It's conveniently located and easy to find. There is plenty of parking nearby as well. This visit I got the Mighty Macaroni, a large, deep fried bit of macaroni and cheese topped with your choice of cheese and grilled. My girlfriend got the Mom's Meatloaf, which was very, very good. In the past, we've also gotten the Monte Cristo, The Dude Abides, and the Cuban War Pig, all of which were excellent. We haven't tried anything yet that we didn't like. Melt has continually been a staple for us during our visits to Columbus, and will continue to be as they've consistently delivered on excellent food in huge portions.

Wish I would have read the reviews before deciding to go. It used to be a great place but something must have changed the last few years. We sat at the bar near expo and it was painfully obvious how mismanaged the place is now. Servers were standing around not knowing what to do. Food was just sitting in the window and no one knew who it was for. The cooks didn't seem to have any direction. On top of that they only had about 4 beers on tap and they were warm. They used to have a ton on options on tap. The menu prices also seemed outrageous. We saw some of the food that was coming out of the window and decided it wasn't worth the money and left.

Visited on a Thursday right around lunch time. Seated immediately, service was good. Food was filling. Ordered a food sandwich, everyone took half of it home.

Melt is another place I'm absolutely devastated that we don't have back home. We've visited the Independence location outside of Cleveland and were thrilled to discover Columbus had it's own Melt location. We came for brunch and loved our food. I had the Wake and Bacon, it was everything I wanted it to be and the value was good. I also ordered a Pickled Bloody Mary and a Cream Soda Old Fashioned, both drinks were so good! The other people in my party loved their food as well. We were waited on by the bartender who was spectacular at her job, she had good suggestions for us and was very friendly and considerate. The decor was really cool, just like the Cleveland location, and finding unique art on the walls was a fun way to spend our time waiting. Melt has a myriad of vegetarian and vegan options and many items on the menu can be ordered and modified to fit those dietary concerns.

I ordered a takeout order well in advance, showed up and gave them my name and was told they would be right out. 15 minutes later the bartender noticed I was sitting for a while, looked up my order and told me they didn’t get it. They sorted that out, but had to wait another 20 minutes. Everything was labeled correctly, but upon getting home (20+ minute drive), I opened my box to see a plain grilled cheese, not the Cleveland Cheesesteak I had ordered. Very disappointing to wait basically an hour all to have the wrong food. I used to love this place, but service has gone way downhill in the last couple years. I would give zero stars if possible and won’t be returning any time soon.

Service was top notch. Really enjoyed my visit at this location. Food was delivered fresh and made to order.
