Mel's Family Diner

I got the chopped sirloin with mash and gravy. I expected more for a diner but the portion are on par with what you should eat. Flavor was okay. The friendly Service is what put the place on top, in my opinion. I would come back. 4 star for Service. The prices are great for the area too.

The staff is incredibly friendly. The food and service was excellent. I'd come back to this diner again for sure. Although it was my first time at the diner, I felt like the staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming to me. I could also tell that they cared about their regulars a lot.

Very good diner food. Which is exactly what I would expect. Portions reasonable but you can order larger sized meals. Healthy options available. Good service. Good atmosphere.

The first time we went we had no issues , today we tried it again and we got the wrong food brought to our table , I asked for over medium eggs and mine were worse than over easy (super runny) , my biscuits and gravy were cold as soon as they came out and to the table , very great service even through all the bs we dealt with , I understand it gets busy and it’s not easy to remember 5 tables orders exactly but it seems like they have a lack of servers and the cook needs to know the difference between eggs , a gentleman at the bar with his wife had the same issue , ordered over medium eggs and got runny eggs . I don’t think we will be returning to this location.... my morning was great till we got to mels ....

Our waitress was a total sweet heart. She was very attentive and polite. Definitely worth going back.

Guys, this is the place for good food, good company, and good service. The affordability of this diner is fabulous for our wallets and makes us happy people with plenty of coffee.
