Mellow Mushroom

We were passing through Mobile and had to have pizza. Well, we scored. This is possibly the best pizza that I have ever eaten. I like thin crust and this wasn't thin, but it was wonderful! We also shared an incredible salad that was lovely. The ambiance was pleasant, the service first rate and the meal perfect. We were so impressed. The beer selection is enormous, too!

This location is by far the best in Mobile. We stopped going to the University location for several reasons and decided to give this location a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. The pizza was hot and fresh. Maggie is an excellent and efficient waitress. Thank you Maggie for helping us remember why we used to frequent Mellow Mushroom. We will be back to this location. PS. Please put your craft beers in frosted goblets. Both of the goblets that my two beers were in were hot and that very quickly negatively affected the taste of my otherwise nice craft beer.

Delicious, can handle large crowds very well, military friendly, and food came quick. Decor was original so I rated them very well and you guys should check em out when your in the neighborhood of one of them, they are all over the south and the east coast.

Visiting family and came here for dinner. We ordered a meat lovers (can't remember the exact name) and a mushroom (Holy Shitake ) and a cheese pizza for the kids. All the pizzas were fantastic and the crust was amazing. Great beer selection especially on draft. Service was friendly and fast.

They have the best stone baked pizza and the building is beautiful. I always enjoy eating at this Mellow Mushroom!

It took a while to get our food but it was a busy night and worth the wait!

If only the servers cared about providing good service, they would get 5 stars. Pizzas are always great. Love the Funky Q and the basic pepperoni is fantastic.

Ok, I love their pizza. I also like the Kentucky Bourbon Ale. So for that I'll give 4 stars for those reasons. Although the service has always been friendly I cant always say the same about the timely manner in which I get my food. Granted....we had a large party both times, but it always seems to happen to me. Two years in a row they either forgot to put my order in or.....they "burned my pizza". Tonight I ordered my pizza when everyone else did. My wife got her order and so did everyone else. Where. I finally asked about mine the response was that they burned mine. However.....they made good on it and upgraded my pizza from the 10 inch to the 14 inch at no extra charge. I'll go back again simply because I live the food. Basically I'm trying to say is that if it seems like you are waiting a long time for your food....ask. Otherwise....two thumbs up from me.

So,good! Eclectic and fun atmosphere. They are vegetarian and vegan friendly too! Check them out for sure!

Best thing here is the patio and sculpture. Servers aren't super friendly. Haven't been back. They were overrun with business though. Not enough parking. Don't have the Tempeh sandwich that they have in ocean springs location. Did get take-out though. Vegan cheese and lots of veggie options. Good dough. Need a thin crust.

My wife and I, had a spur of the moment DATE EVENING. Came for the Grateful Dead drinks and wings. Left with a pizza. Had the BEST WAITER EVER!! His name was Sean. Told him that we are BIG on customer service....made my wife and I feel as if we were the only ones in the place.......SALUTE!!

Delicious, healthy food for a reasonable price, with excellent service. If you're not a fan of paper straws, I would suggest bringing a reusable one.

Great location for west Mobile. Plenty of room for large parties, also a beautiful partially covered patio for outdoor seating with the pup! We always enjoy my favorite pizza, the Cesar with the most amazing pretzel bites with beer cheese! If you haven’t been here, go!!
