Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers was founded in 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia. This franchise, operated under Home-Grown Industries of Georgia, Inc., is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. For 41 years, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has been serving up fresh, stone-baked pizzas to order in an eclectic, art-filled, and family-friendly environment. Each Mellow is locally owned and operated and provides a unique feel focused around great customer service and high-quality food. We opened this location on Glenwood South in 2002. Mellow Mushroom’s menu showcases natural flavors and the freshest of ingredients in a creative menu assortment of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones, appetizers and vegetarian and vegan options. Gluten free crust and a kids menu are also available. Mellow Mushroom is more than just awesome pizza and craft beer; it is a state of mind. Our full service bar features a wide array of craft beers, an extensive wine list and fresh, handcrafted cocktails. Catch day-to-day sporting events on one of our many TVs and every sports channel imaginable. Enjoy a sunny day on our huge outdoor patio. The Mellow Mushroom is open seven days a week Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:00p.m., and Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday. 11:30 a.m until 10:00 p.m.

Some great tap choices. Our food was awful though. Been to several Mellow Mushrooms from Florida to Tennessee and this one doesn’t meet the status quo. The bartender said she’d talk to a manager but nothing was resolved. We’re not ones to raise a big stink but surely we’ll share with you all that it was a poor experience. Tons of better options in the area, highly suggest just going elsewhere. Great beer (and food) across the street at the Raleigh beer garden too.

Love this place! Great food! Greatest service! Super accommodating! Love it!Our last server, had been our server before, and he remembered immediately all of our drink orders (2 adults, we have 4 kids, we only had two with us), and my very specific pizza order. One night, on a weekend, they had a magician there. The kids LOVED that!
