Mellow Mushroom is proud to serve the Northside area with delicious pizza, hoagies, calzones and salads. Providing quality food since 1974, we use fresh ingredients on all our menu items. Our menu and locations are as eclectic as our fans. Our full-service bar features a wide array of craft beers, an extensive wine list and fresh, handcrafted cocktails. Catch day-to-day sporting events on one of our 21 TVs and every sports channel imaginable. We offer a great covered patio perfect for large parties and events. I decided to have a quick brunch with my mom in the River City area. I remembered that Mellow Mushroom had brunch from 11 am to 2pm. No wait on a Sunday is golden. We were seated very quickly and offered drinks promptly. There is a nice selection at the bar. Who doesn’t like a nice mimosa for brunch. There’s a super cool deal for bottomless mimosas on Saturday and Sunday which is great to go with the food. Oh how did I not start the review without not talking about the food? I’ve always enjoyed the pizza at Mellow Mushroom and normally tend to get the veggie pizza. The crust is always amazing. My mom got the shrimp and grits that were so flavorful. We really enjoyed the food. Very tasty.

We came straight here from the hotel down the street after Rockville to get a bite and it was amazing!! Best pizza east of the Mississippi River and south of the Mason-Dixon Line!!! We had the pacific rim and I ordered a small roasted mushroom trio and artichoke hearts. The dough is so flavorful, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The atmosphere was chill. They have a huge bar in the center of the restaurant. Music was good. The bathroom was very clean and service was impeccable. Being from California I am extremely impressed with this restaurant. I look forward to coming back sometime in the future. Thanks Mellow Mushroom for a delicious experience!

There is something about their crust that makes everything so much better. The pretzel bites with the beer cheese are too notch. It's a chain I know but it's consistently delicious.
