Been going for years. Absolutely the best Shanghai food. Always go when we’re in town. Just ate there. Pork and egg. Sautéed shrimp. Steamed pork dumplings. Hot and sour soup. Always happy I eat here. Same for my entire family.

I moved away from LA when I was 4 but would go here every time I visited. After 25 or so years, I still love it. Affordable with great taste, I wish it were in NYC...

The best dumpling restaurant, especially Shiao lung bao. Nice and juicy just like in Shanghai. Also love the garlic eggplant dish. The place has not changed in the five years. Moved out of state and came back last week to visit L.A. had to stop by. The server remembered my usual order. Amazing service . Definitely, recommend it. And FYI, free parking is a plus in this town.

One of the best xiao long bao places in Los Angeles. For reference, Din Tai Fung doesn't even make the list. Ownership is changing in July 2016, we'll see if it stays as good.

Pretty consistently delicious hole in the wall Shanghai style food. Service is good and weekday lunch specials are buy 3 get 1 free, and if you spend more than $30 for dinner, you get a free order of soup dumplings or sesame ball dessert soup.

Friendly staff. Nice seating area in a strip mall. Easily sat when I arrived. Good fried soup dumplings. Delicious seafood noodles. Huge portions for the price. I had leftovers for the next day.

I come here maybe once a month and exclusively order one dish, the braised eel noodle soup. It's the only item that is exclusive to this store, is cheap, and and very delicious.

My family has been coming here for 20 years. We love the seaweed fish (tai tiao huang yu), the braised pork shoulder (ti pang), and the scallion noodles (cong you ban mian). And of course, the xiao long bao, which you can now get for free when you check-in on Yelp.
