This was an unplanning visit and the outcome was different I must say.If you haven't tried Taiwanese desserts, this place is a good one to start with as it seemed very popular in the neighborhood, packed around the clock.Get your dessert to share as there's no way you can finish it alone.

I’ve been a fan for many years, but it’s the second time I ordered to go that when I got home, opened the box and realized they gave me the wrong item. Nothing in the box is what I want. Overpriced, but please let us know if you don’t have some certain materials, instead of giving the wrong things. Ps. They recently raised the credit card minimum to $15, which is ridiculous in Manhattan.

Picking up custom orders to go. Staff is wearing face masks and being extra sanitary but still have pantry moths flying around. Probably good that they’re now doing deliveries.

As to a Taiwanese, this brought back a lot of good memories, and this is the only few place that have taro ball and sweet potato ball. Very happy that they finally open in NYC.

Literally one of my all time favorite dessert spots. I can say I love the texture of the taro balls and the mix with shaved ice winner! Been coming here for the past year or so and I am still in love with it every time. Only con is that they run out of the big taro balls very early on due to popularity. Should definitely try this place out if you're around St Mark's! Absolutely gives you a taste of Taiwan

Taiwanese import that’s is widely popular. The hype is still there but there isn’t lines around the block anymore. It’s usually filled with NYU students and if there’s a line it moves pretty quick. They have a decent amount of seats but I’m surprised how rundown the place has gotten already. The table and seats seem to be rarely cleaned and the last two times I was there, it reeked of urine. I recommend finding a seat to the left as you enter to be as far away from the restroom as possible or take out and eat at the square across the street if weather allows. The desserts are some of the best. The Meet Fresh signature cold dessert is my go to but I also love the Taro ball 6 too. Definitely worth trying, I just wish they would hire a dedicated cleaning staff to keep the place from becoming a subway station.

I've waited so long for a legit Taiwanese Dessert place!! By legit, I mean there's been many places that claimed they served Taiwanese desserts such as shaved Ice but it was always ehh. So when a friend told me about this place Meet Fresh I had to come try for nyself. I gotta say, Meet Fresh is on an another level! The desserts here were simply delicious and authentic. Their menu features so many items. The interior is super updated and there's plenty of seating on both floors. The prices here are a bit pricey but hey you get what you pay for right?

I LOVE this place!!!! Period. This place is very consistent with any other locations. They don’t exist in Florida and I just had to go there twice for my 5 day visit in NYC!

They just opened up this week and the hype is real. The line was pretty long on a Sunday afternoon and we waited about 25 minutes to get to order. The staff at the door was very friendly and was a great help managing the lines. We ordered tofu pudding with taro balls and red bean, purple rice milk tea, and a shaved ice. The shaved ice was really large (metro card for scale) and you get both the creaminess from the ice cream, and refreshnesss from the honey flavored ice. The purple rice drink was very rich and filling, and the rice thickened the milk tea which gives it a nice texture when served hot. The tofu pudding is light and smooth, and a good combo pairing with the bouncy taro balls.Price is a leaning to the higher end but the portion is huge. Great to share one dish between a few friends if you are not hungry. You can also add toppings to your dish if you want to try everything. Overall pretty good place and I wish they could open up more spots in NYC to reduce the wait :)

I’m offended by the staff who worked here on my visit. They refused to let us enter the space downstairs even this level was all crowded simply because they didn’t want to clean the room afterwards. The food is overpriced and they only take cash for purchases less than $10. The staff wear only one glove when preparing the food and has no understanding of “good attitude”.

insanely good shaved ice. Not Japanese style with fake flavored syrup. nice brown sugar flavor. almost like a meal. Add whatever you want with so many topping and all excellent.

Large amount of food for a good value. Tastes good and would recommend the shaved ice. Sometimes the wait can be long though
