Mechant Steak Sherbrooke

Very nice restaurant, ordered the pepper steak and fries everything was good but the steak pepper sauce tasted very strange. Both myself and others agreed.

Not great quality of food

I really loved this nasty restaurant. Everything was fantastic during our visit. Superb decor and specials worthy of note. A "bring your own wine" which is worth the detour. Without any hesitation I will return.

Solid food, good service, great prices. Bring your own wine is a bonus.

I chose to eat a signature dish and had high hopes based on this restaurant being a steakhouse.. the meat was great and the sidedish as well however the wisky sauce was extremely bitter. I tried very hard enjoying my meal but it was underwhleming. For a 45$ plate and 3$ extra for fries, one would expect more attention to details and flavor. All around a friendly place with good food. Will probably give it a second try but stick to the cheaper meals..

It was great we had the steak frite and the mest was cooked to our exact request and very tender, the sauce had a unique wine taste mixed with the pepper. I call it mechant bon steak.

Special fried steak from Thursday at $ 21 price for quality 5/5. The 6 oz was cooked to perfection for my taste. The fries were great. I'm not a fan of the gravy with the steak but it does not change the 5/5.

Cetais a very quiet Tuesday night. But very nice waitress. No pressure to leave.

The restaurant requires a bit of love-rated look, especially the banquettes and the paint.The meat is very good, but not the rest of the dish does not do justice to the $ 40 paid.Skip the squids, they're not good 👎

Good meal and good service. The quality of the food is good and the staff was really nice. The restaurant is a "bring your own wine". The price is correct. From 25 to 45 $ / plate excluding the table d'hôte
