McNies Fish & Chips

Our server was quirky but sweet! We had a platter that included halibut, shrimp, scallops and fries along with onion rings, coleslaw and gravy. The food was fresh and flavourful. Highly recommend if you enjoy fish and chips!!

This spot offers excellent service as well as delightful meals. The best restaurant around town. The meals arrived rapidly and the rates were fair. I recommend this place.

Good food and friendly service.

First time visit... wont be the last! Fish was tasty, fries could have used a longer cook time but none the less very good. Prices were average. We were impressed!

Joey makes this place so great to dine out. She is so kind and fun to chat with. The halibut and chips are good.

The staff has been here for a long time. Geri the waitress is very friendly. The food is tasty. You have to ask for specific things if you want your meal prepared to your liking. Parking in the back of the restaurant. Would not recommend for wheelchairs. Restrooms are downstairs.

I mean, who doesn't like a small, local, strip mall fish and chips place? Simple and hits the craving.

Went here with my boys in a pretty big group. The staff were delightfully friendly, even remembering all of our names. The food was pretty good too. I've had better fish and chips before, but this place definitely was pretty delicious and more than satisfied everyone in the group.

We had a great meal here. Ordered halibut and chips. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. My favourite thing about the restaurant was that every part of the meal tasted amazing, the fish, the chips, the coleslaw, even the tartar sauce! It's the best fish and chips!

I would have to say the fries we received were basically bottom scarp from the fryer the website also is an issue with the pricing which is not the same when ordering in. Very disappointing will not recommend this place

The fish & chips were great, large portions. Coleslaw is really good too. Service was great, very friendly and welcoming. This was our first time at McNie's, but it will definitely not be our last. McNie's will be our go to Fish & Chips restaurant from now on.

I just ordered haddock and chips for delivery and the fish was close to perfect! The chips seem so much better than when I first had them here also a couple of years ago. I thought I had to go farther for delicious fish and chips but this will be my local go to from now on! (I was born in England so i am picky when it comes to both the fish and chips being perfect lol...the fish was a 9 and the chips were an 8 which is hard to get both right so pretty darn close! )
