Amazing steak! We had the sampler, filet, strip, and porterhouse. All were great. Wonderful salad and sides. Definitely will be back!

Food: It was good. Service: It could have been better. The waitress brought food to the table separately and not altogether. Some people were almost finished eating a part (burger) of their meal when another part (fries) was delivered. Bacon or sausage comes with pancakes, but someone was charged extra for the protein. I ordered an omelette and didn’t realize it costs $1 extra for each topping, even cheese. My omelette was missing sausage and spinach but I was charged for it anyways. Ambiance: it looks like an upscale on the inside. It’s very clean with cloth tablecloths. Price: it’s overpriced.

The butcher shop was great, fantastic steaks. The quality of their cuts definitely shows with the tenderness and flavor. I also got the Mortadella from the deli, which was a great price and amazing too. Glad this came to our neighborhood. Thank you McGregors.

Great environment, excellent food and even better service. I highly recommend stopping by the butcher shop where you can pick out excellent cuts of meat and even get compound garlic and bone marrow to finish your steaks at home

Wonderful food experience. Service was impeccable with willingness to recommend. We opted for filet and filet medallions which were both cooked to perfection. Sides were flavorful. And drink pairings were on point. Definitely will return to not only enjoy the food but also the atmosphere.

We just happened upon this nearly-hidden gem when we relocated to KS after living abroad for several years. The food is truly excellent: we spend a good deal of time on the Maine coast, so it’s noteworthy that I most often order the always delicious, fresh-off-the-boat-tasting scallops, but anything else I’ve ever tried has left me equally happy. My husband relishes their steaks and has been so very happy with them every time, which says something from a man raised in Japan who has enjoyed the best kobe and wagyu that can be had. We brought family visiting from the East Coast here and it was their absolute favorite of the places we’d taken them to dine as well. The atmosphere is delightful: equally refined and un-ostentatious, the professional, attentive, warm and friendly staff is an absolute delight. This is our favorite spot. I selfishly hope too many positive reviews don’t make it harder to get a table, but the owners and staff deserve all the kudos we can give for creating a dining experience that gratifies all our senses and leaves us feeling as if we’d just spent time with favorite friends and family. So very highly recommended.

Stopped in for supper off of a referral from a coworker. Only hiccup was I order a steak well done and sent it back as it was undercooked and came back still not well done. But cooked to my husband's liking so we just switched meals so everyone was happy. Catherine our server was impeccable! I have never in all my life have someone take care of me the way she did. Very kind and sincere of wanting you to have a wonderful visit to the restaurant. Will come back!

BEST Steak of our lives. From the very first bite our lives were changed forever. Great vibes and a private dinning space. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. The perfect spot to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Came here for the first time, and all of the 5-star reviews are 100% accurate. This place is EXCELLENT. The food was amazing, the service was top notch, and they have a great bar setup as an added bonus. You can tell that the ownership takes great pride in their restaurant. Highly recommend.

We were the first customers in the restaurant for lunch. Friendly waitress took our order for a burger/fries and an Italian sausage/onion/pepper sandwich with fries. Again, pointing out that we were the first and only customers for a good 15 minutes. 20 minutes after she took our order, the waitress came back and apologized for the wait, and told us there was a "technical issue with the printer" and that our food was still not ready. Not sure why a "technical issue with the printer" would have anything to do with a food order, but OK. We waited another 10 minutes (for a total of 30 minutes) and our food finally arrived. My husband had ordered the burger with cheese, lettuce and onion only (arrived with a big tomato slice on it), and my Italian sausage was the size of a regular small hotdog and not the nice-sized sausage I've had at other places. The onions on my sausage were cooked through OK, but the peppers were barely cooked. The fries were good (obviously not hand cut). No salt/pepper/ketsup on the table, so I had to ask for ketsup. She brought me a small half cup of ketsup, not nearly enough for the amount of fries. While we were eating, a couple more customer came in, looked at the menu, and left (yes, it's expensive). As far as the interior of the restaurant goes, it's very very very dark and moody, no windows at all. Dark navy walls, olive green booth seats, nice pictures of the Scottish highlands on the wall. Might be nice for dinner, but for a quick lunch, it's just too dark. The food was just....average. Definitely not the best Italian sausage sub sandwich I've ever had, not even in the top five, and the burger had a kind of funny taste to it (yes, I know "fresh" meat not purchased at the grocery store has a different taste to it, we buy stuff at Golden Belt Beef all the time). We eat at a lot of burger restaurants and this would rank towards the bottom. Prices: "Highland Burger" and fries: $15; Italian sausage and fries: $14. No drinks. Total bill was $31.65 without tip. I left a $5 tip because she should have noticed waaaaaayyyyyy before 20 minutes was up that our food hadn't been cooked yet. We won't be back, it's a "perma-ban" from our rotation. We had high hopes it would be a nice place, but for the long wait, average food, high prices, and less than competent wait staff, we'll go someplace else.

Great atmosphere and happy hour menu. Best empanadas I've ever had, and Katie behind the bar was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I visited McGregor’s recently for an evening dinner. It was very clear to the both of us that McGregor’s will not pass as fine dining in OP. For Entrees, my wife ordered a Filet that came out to her liking. I ordered Prime rib that did not impress me. When I order Prime Rib at a good restaurant, I expect to get a big piece of beef that may be an inch thick. The Prime rib that I received was only ½ to ¾ inch thick. This would have made a nice prime rib sandwich, but does not hit it for being a main entrée. Both of us were very disappointed in the baked potatoes. I have the strong suspicion that the potatoes had been cooked much earlier and were being held in a warmer for most of the dinner crowd. The outer ¾ inch was dry and tough. Extended stays in a warmer will do just that. It appeared that the cheese and bacon had been placed in the potatoes hours beforehand. The cheese was dried out by then and the bacon was lost in the cheese lump. It had become a single taste. The décor was very good and the service was excellent. I would like to see McGregor’s succeed in OP, but after our initial dinner, I have my doubts. I would hope the McGregor’s would hire a 3rd party restaurant operations manager to come in and give them some advice.
