McDonald's

Not sure what has happened to this McDonalds over the last 6 months or so, but they are pretty much awful.Sitting in drive thru now. Been here a while. Had to wait at second speaker while several cars went through first speaker.Now after finally ordering been sitting in line for at least 5 minutes without getting to first window to pay. Wish we had another option close by.

I wonder if the managers here just hide out in the office and hope everyone does their job...today they surely were not. We placed our order and as usual at this location were asked to pull up because they were "making fries" okay no problem, but there we sat as car after car went smoothly through the drive through. By the time we started counting (several minutes into our wait) 9 cars behind us had been served. You can't tell me that at least a dozen cars went through the drive through and not a single one ordered fries. 16 minutes into our wait (no other cars in the dive drive through) my wife grabbed the receipt and went inside to see what the holdup was. To her surprise there were no customers at the counter and 6 employees just standing around. Their explanation for not filling our order "uh...we forgot" I wonder what else they forget to do...clean equipment? Throw away outdated food? I won't be back to find out.

Manager took order, I was never greeted, never a thank you. Very large woman must enjoy eating more than customer service. I order take out but she did not hear over her chewing. When I pointed it out she opened a bag and dumped tray in bag. She proved she was racist because she made sure every kid of her race had their food that ordered behind me. Then when I asked about the fish sandwich that had been waiting for 14 minutes. She slammed on a tray and then slammed it on the counter.

Aaron was very rude, McDonald’s or not a job is a job. Everyone’s attitude sucked & I will not be coming back.

Loving McDonalds coffee. Ordered sugar free vanilla cappuccino and it was delicious! Had to fight the urge to buy another later in the day.

We arrive with the drive tho line backed up and decide to go inside after waiting awhile a finally get to order, the staff was rude. We get our food but not our cups, had to ask twice, the tea was empty (as always at night) and had to go back to the counter to ask for it. My boyfriend asked and was completely ignored, after waiting I finally stepped in and asked for the tea, the woman snatched the cup out of my hand and never said a word to me. Once we get home we realize we are shorted a fry and as my daughter ate her chicken sandwich she found paper in it. This place is terrible

This particular McDonald's is for some reason not on par with others I've visited. They are frequently out of regular menu items and their biscuits are horrible, almost always overdone and dried out. Staff is always friendly and polite, though.

Nice employees and clean restaurant, but they don't have the kiosks to order/browse the menu at your leisure, as to not hold up the line of other customers behind you. Other than lacking kiosks, it's one of the better McDonald's in and around Gastonia. Not bad...

Have never felt compelled to write a review for anything until now. I'm not going to sugarcoat it - much like the recent reviews below, I'm not sure why this particular McDonald's is so inept when it comes to drive thru orders. Out of 4 orders, only one was even NEAR correct. Most recently, was told to pull ahead like previous reviewers. Waited TWELVE minutes for 4 chicken selects, maybe 9-10 cars passed mine. Right as I was going to get out of the car to see what the hold up was, an employee met me at the door with my order. Drove home, opened the bag - A fish fillet and a small fries. Cold at that. RIP the $7.47 that I'd spent on my meal. It's seriously laughable and hard to understand how consistently they give out the wrong food. Everyone I know that lives nearby avoids that McD's like the plague. I'll be adding my name to the list.

10:30 am, and the restaurant is slow. It still takes 12 minutes to place my order, begrudgingly accepted by an employee intent on ensuring I know she doesn't want to be there. Even though the lunch menu had just started, my friend are lukewarm.

Definitely one of the better McDonald's in Gastonia.

I ordered my dinner in the drive-thru, and asked for a large coffee with it. The guy at the window apparently had to brew it so he asked me to pull around to the other side and wait. No problem there. I pull around and several minutes later, nobody came to my car. So I finally go inside and saw several dine-in customers waiting for their meals. I noticed the guy at the window was apparently just holding a coffee cup...and just standing there instead of delivering it. When a lady finally came to the counter to help me (who wasn't particularly friendly--I might add), I asked about my coffee and she got it for me. Needless to say, they need a new manager at this location. They need to start over at this McDonald's.
