McCutchen House

About

The McCutchen House is run by University of South Carolina's Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management and it's hospitality students. The historic home serves as a working classroom for restaurant management and offers a variety of dining options and culinary events that are open to the public. Lunch is served Tuesday - Friday from 11:30 - 1:30 during the fall and spring semester. The menu changes every two weeks and the $10 lunch price includes an appetizer, entree, desert bar, beverage and tax. During summer months lunch is offered at our Garden Grill, serving up hamburgers, salads, bbq and other summer favorites. McCutchen House also hosts Thursday night dinners each semester, which includes chef-prepared four or five course meal and the option to BYOB with no corkage fee. Reservations are required. Price is $28/person. You can also book private events at the restaurant or partake in a variety of culinary and wine courses offered throughout the year. Menus and more information is available on our website.
