McConnell's Fine Ice Creams

Loved the unique and strong flavors. I got the coffee, churro, and lemon flavors with the three scoop sampler. Really worth the long line!

Unique flavors. Extremely well made ice cream. 5 different chocolate favors - what else could one want?

The ice cream was great the service rude. The young red haired girl that helped us was very pleasant her co worker not so much. Tall girl brown hair rude. We visited the store yesterday around 5:30 p.m.We were in line and clearly next in line she said next I started to give her our order she said I can't wait on you your in that party. We weren't in a party. She yelled it at us and saying we take orders in party's. My daughter didn't even get anything because of how rude and loud she was. Bad customer service. If you don't want to wait on customer's and to pick and choose who you wait on that is bad business. I don't need you to justify why you did what you did in a loud voice. You clearly need customer service training. Sadly we will not visit again.

Yep this is the best ice cream around and have tried them all. Not much of a wait. Great way to cool down on a warm day. The salted caramel chips is the favorite but many choices of flavors to choose. Find it and enjoy it even the line is out the door which can happen. Worth the wait.

Top tier of flavors. Multiple dairy free options and they're open till 10pm which was nice to find. The upstairs loft is perfect for hanging out. Gem in Santa Barbara.

The wait was long, but the the ice cream was good, though quite a tiny size considering the high price. The chocolatey malt was awful. Steer very clear. Runny and flavorless with weird chunks. I almost gave it back to them, but the line was long and I didn't want to cause a fuss. The affogato was yummo. There were many flavor options. I was surprised to find good seating options upstairs, based on how many people were there. I'd give it a 3.5 stars if I could.

Delicious creamy ice cream with many inviting flavors to choose from! Quick pleasant service for tasting and purchasing. The Earl grey with short bread is excellent, along with the lemon and raspberry. Free street parking, quick lines, both outdoor and indoor seating, credit accepted

The ice cream here is the absolute best I’ve had in Santa Barbara! There’s so many flavors to choose from and you can mix and match to fit your ice cream needs. You can even make your own ice cream sandwich which is what I did. The snickerdoodle and sweet cream combination was amazing! I’d 100% recommend this place and that specific combination, trust me.

McConnell's is a Santa Barbara institution. If you're a visitor, you really have to go. Don't let the long line scare you, it moves quickly!

You see that line in the pick? That's about 20 minutes if you're the 4th person outside the door. Worth it, and for them half a scoop is two scoops so you get to try 2 different flavors you want for the 1 scoop price!

McConnell’s is hands down my favorite ice cream place. They have a huge variety of flavors and their ice cream is amazing! My favorite flavors are the Santa Barbara strawberry, pistachio, or the honey and cornbread ice cream. I think the texture also make the ice cream so good. It’s light and airy but not too heavy. It’s always a treat to come here! I would definitely recommend stopping by McConnell’s if you are in Santa Barbara or LA.

Some of the best ice cream we’ve had for a long time! Super creamy and lots of flavour choices. My husband and I got a single scoop and they offered to split it into two bowls for us. It was the perfect amount for a little cool treat. We got the whiskey pecan and lemon marionberry and both were so super special. We will be back if we’re ever in the area again!

The Earl Grey flavor is unique and delicious, with the perfect amount of shortbread cookie chunks. The mango sorbet is the creamiest sorbet I’ve ever had, and the two flavors together are amazing. A single scoop allows for 2 different flavors! You can also find pints at local grocery stores!
