The tour was great and the buffet was awesome... a great family outing or trip for groups. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

This place was an awesome! Totally not what I expected. We've been on the Safari tour multiple times and never got tired of it. We just recently tried the restaurant and was impressed with their Buffet.

First time here while in Mississippi and it was awesome. From the Restaurant to the Safari loved it and would certainly return in my next visit to Mississippi.

Great place to spend half a day or more. We had lunch, shopped, visited with the employees and owner. Some of us went on the safari. But all of us had a outstanding time. And the rain did not slow us down. Great place.

Wow! What a beautiful location! I recently went there on mother's day to celebrate and enjoy they buffet that they offer there! The wait to get to the buffet was quite long and a but disorganized.. I don't think it was because of the increase in customer I just think it was the lack of communication from the employees to management.. I felt like they should have been able to prepare for that alot better.. the food was delicious and definitely fresh, but yet again they had not prepared for that many people some of the items I had to return to to the line to get once they had some more come out.. but as far as the food is was beyond good! Definitely seasoned great! While we were there we decided to do the petting exhibit which made the whole location completely different from anywhere else! You were able to pet and feed a wide variety of animals! I highly recommend checking this place out!

It was a wonderful was to spend Fourth of July with kids! Worth the trip into town and the cost. We ate lunch there and also did the petting zoo. Although it wasn't the type of petting zoo that you could walk around with the animals, you could reach most of them through the fence and they were all friendly! ✌🏻🤪

This place is huge and extreme nice! We ate lunch at the buffet which was good, hot food and large selection. We then had time to shop around in the general store before we went on a safari ride around the property. There were a lot of animals to see and we had a great time riding the wagon and getting up close to them. The kids had a blast feeding all of the different animals. A dessert from the bakery inside was a great way to end a fun day!

We just got home from our son’s safari-themed first birthday party at McClain. We got the Extreme Party Package, and everything - truly everything - was above and beyond our expectations. The staff were amazing to work with and so accommodating, the food was perfect and presented beautifully, the decorations were impeccable, the planning was so easy, and they were so accommodating when half of our party was late due to the Jackson metro flooding and a bad accident. I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt the need to write one in this instance. I cannot say enough good things, and I am so thankful for the memories we made today! Way to go, McClain!

I recommend the venue to everyone. The staff there is very professional. My family gathered there to celebrate my mother's 81st birthday. While there, we enjoyed the food and the server!! Thanks McClain for your hospitality!!!!

Wonderful time at the Safari! Lots of neat animals and a great time was had by all. The lunch at McClains Restaurant was fantastic! This is a must-see attraction off the beaten path in Central Mississippi.

We went to the buffet, and the vegetables were very good. The catfish were large pieces and cooked just right. The only problem that I had was the oysters weren't good. They had a funny taste and were cooked too hard. The prime rib had an excellent flavor, but it was just a tad too rare for us. I would love to go back and check out the steak house.
