Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

Inside of restaurant was really nice. Food was ok.

The location is convenient , building is great, and the food was okay. I must admit that there was a bit of a weird vibe from the restaurant personnel-as a business owner myself I understand that the best of professionalism, hospitality and personality aren’t inherent in everyone-but a basic level can be trained. No one was rude, just quiet (maybe shy) and not super attentive. A lot of loud Spanish could be heard from the kitchen (I speak Spanish so I could tell it was all related to orders) -it was just “wierd” juxtaposed to the quiet of the restaurant. The restaurant has potential-if someone would pay attention to the details.

Good size plate, average prices. Some slower staff at greeting but waiter was good.

This is a 3.5 review. The place was packed on a Friday night. They had one waiter for a very large section. Chips and salsa while you wait for your order to be taken and for food to be made/ brought out. This particular evening there was a longer than usual wait. Food was good when it arrived and was enjoyed to the last morsel. A normal evening at this place is a 4 star event. Tidy and welcoming interior. Will be back for sure!

Excellent food, drinks and friendly staff!!

Prices seemed high but the help was fantastic. My wife had a seafood chimichanga and I had a seafood burrito. They did a great job with the bay scallops. A little light on the crab though. The atmosphere was a typical mid-range Mexican restaurant. Nothing surprising or out of the ordinary.

Food is good, place is casual relaxing environment, the service was not that good here -2 stars..Would definitely eat here again.

To me it seems like their prices are more expensive than the Redmond one and they don't want to offer a lot of the Redmond deals was really annoying me at like kids eat free on Tuesday that was kind of a pain to get them to owner customer service is subpar there though you don't get checked on you don't get your water refilled but the food is good Mazatlan quality the drinks are fine they don't really have a bar there I prefer to go to the Redmond one but for wanting to have a night out with my son and go have mom and baby dinner it's alright

Large portions. Great prices. Very friendly and nice people. We always share a combination meal and we are full when we are done. And they don't charge for an extra plate. Nice atmosphere.
