Max and Erma's

This restaurant was suggested by my daughter in law. She said she'd visited other locations and was good. But this particular one is located in a hotel, which you'll have to drive around the back to get to. Service was fine, but kitchen needs some work. Appetizer came out after the main meal, Nachos were ok, but cheese harden real fast. Management took off appetizer because of coming out so late.

Good not great. I stayed at the DoubleTree during my business trip so it was just convenient to eat there every night. The Reuben was not good at all. Crispy fish tacos were okay. The best reason to go is the $5 cheeseburger on Thursdays. Best burger I had in a long time!

Great times at Max & Erma's!! Service was great and so was the food. My Cod BLT was pretty tasty. My drink was ok. The waitress was outstanding! And thanks to the manager for showing so much love! I had a great night. This used to be a favorite in college when it was in MacArthur Mall. Bring back the chicken parmigiana!!

The food was excellent. Our waitress was not so good. Hope next time to have better service

My husband and I went here for date night. I love their tortilla soup. Today I tried their summer berry salad, and it was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. I wish the Virginia Beach Blvd location had not closed, because this one is attached to a hotel (it gets crowded with people from the hotel). I would definitely come back.

We come here frequently on Thursday for their $5 cheeseburger and fries. They are sooooo good, and budget friendly.

Max and Erma's is a great quality restaurant for a hotel location. I am staying at the Doubletree for two weeks and have found this restaurant to be good enough to eat at for the fourth night now. I just had the fish tacos which were good. The other I had their bean burger which was surprisingly good. After get done with my work for the day, I am glad to have this restaurant available in my hotel for the convenience so I don't have to venture out.

I go with my wife to this great spot often! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place regularly. The cooking is great, the team is welcoming and the prices are affordable. I like being in this restaurant to have a rich supper.

We both had variations of the turkey burger. It was excellent. Our server was quick to take our order, and quick to drop the things we ASKED for back at the table. But, it was extremely difficult to catch her attention if we needed anything else before she left... The endless fries were a definite plus. The beverages were refilled upon request...being that they were iced tea and water I was unimpressed. All in all I would say it was a fair meal. At a fair price.

We had a nice dinner here! The food was delicious, prices affordable and the staff was kind. They gave us difficulty when asking to sit at a table versus a booth which seemed really unnecessary in an empty restaurant. Would eat here again!

We are in the hotel for a meeting this week. So while I didn't have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant the food that we ordered out was delicious. Also the servers and hostesses were extremely kind and helpful especially when dealing with a larger than usual number of orders all at once. I would love to have the opportunity actually dine in the restaurant if I ever get the chance.

Literally everything came out of can, the food was like expensive school lunch. I did enjoy the wing an quesadillas appetizer and liked that they used paper straws.

Haven't been in a while but they are really good i loved there potato skins❤❤

Eh not the best food I've ever ate but not the worst burger was over cooked.
