A guy from a distant neighboring business harassed me about my parking job. Unwelcoming environment due to the paranoia of the marijuana store operators, in my opinion.

Just not the same anymore😞.. Food & customer service is bad.. My last time going here. I been going here since i was a child. But I enjoyed it while it was good .✌🏼

Good sandwiches giomelas style

Good sandwich, could of had more pickles. But the pastrami was on point!👍

Best "Hole in the Wall' sandwich shop in the North Valley. Great selection of hot or cold sandwiches, always fresh and delicious. Got the large hot philly cheesesteak with all of the toppings, my Dad got the hot pastrami with just mustard. Recommend getting the onion/pickle/tomatoe toppings on the side to top on your own. Yummy mac salad. Dad was impressed, I will be back!

None of us liked our sandwich at all. I got the impression they did not care about being good. It has been a while since we went so I don't remember details but we won't be back.

The portion you receive is huge. Very yummy. A bit pricey . A great place to stop and eat.

Sorry, the best Pepper Steak Sandwich. I travel over 20 miles to get there. Eating them for over 20 years.

I actually no all the staff as I been living in area and coming to this place for years, Sal is great, he knows my usual order all I have to do is give him a knot, he is extremely friendly, nice and overall a great guy.

Nothing elegant about Matt and Tony's and I always take my sub to go. If you are looking for a great sub: choice of meat, a selection of cheese and relish (tomato, onion, pickle, oil and oregano plus additional condiments if desired), you will be a happy person. There is an excellent variety of hot and cold subs to choose from. Sides include drinks, chips and potato and macaroni salads. Service is pleasant, the ladies behind the counter are friendly and do a great job.

Delicious peppersteak sandwich, also pastrami! The toppings of tomatoes, peppers, onions and pickles add that extra pop of flavor. Love their hard rolls, yum!Friendly staff, although not enough staff, especially at busy times. Go before typical lunchtime as it can get very busy and you might have to wait. You can call in your order ahead, so if you have limited time, do that.
