Matsuya Shinjuku Oh Guard

Ate an early breakfast at Matsuya. First off, the restaurant is super clean. Ordering is easy on the touchscreen outside, via English menu. I got the breakfast set, gyudon, soup, pickles. They have complimentary tea both hot and cold. Once your order number is displayed on the screen inside, you pick up your meal as it is self serve. Once finished, you bus your tray back. Food is simple and good. Comfort food at a bargain.

Clean with lots of tiny seating. Gets really busy and has two entrances. One ticket machine is outside and can choose between languages. Good please for a quick snack.

Thanks you for opening on Typhoon day. This is the self services restaurant, from order at the machine till cleaning the table. The taste is good and well cooked, the quality is really good. There are lot of Japanese meal available. Reasonable price and worth the quality.

The ginger pork rice set is really nice!
