We came for coffee on a chilly winter day. Delicious coffee. Interior is lovely with a slight Mediterranean feel. Lovely service as well.

This is a two floors Italian restaurant near Mitsushima Gaikan Station. With my friend we tried the Seafood pasta and the Marguerita Pizza, they were both great. The lunch set is at a reasonable price (1500-1800 ¥) and included an appetizer, a drink and Biscotti (small sweet cookies).

Nice atmospheric restaurant.I had one of the best coffee's I've had in Japan here, the menu is written in English as well as Japanese and the staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The restaurant is also extremely accessible, being almost right outside the local train station.

Felt a little overpriced for what we got. The desserts here are very good.

Variety of Italian food in convenient locationI visited Toto twice in the last month with friends. I like the casual cosy atmosphere with comfortable chairs, Italian travel posters on the wall and cute custom coasters. The staff and managers are young and the restaurant has a trendy, modern feel. It's also no smoking which is a relief!Toto seems to specialize in seafood dishes, which makes sense as it is on the coast. I highly recommend the seafood appetier for a variety of greens and light seafood in a subtle lemon marinade. The clam pasta was well seasoned and not too heavy. The margherita pizza had good quality cheese and a tasty crust. My only quibble was that the sangria was weak and overly sweet, but perhaps that is what people prefer here? For under 2000 yen/person you can easily have an entree and salad or drink and then hop onto the next train back to Sendai.

Delicious food made with loveThe owners are a lovely friendly couple that put a lot of detail into everything. The set price is a great value as you get a very good appetizer, containing several diverse delicacies, a main dish (pizza or pasta - both fresh and very good) and a dessert. A real gem!

Amazing to find such good Italian food in Matsushima. Had the best pasta ever with almonds and sea urchins. Good pizza and coffee too, staff is lovely. Well worth a visit
