Matsumae Sushi

Nice place. Always crowded with so many foreign people. Cheap but delicious. If you are on a budget and want to try sushi, you can add this place to your list.

Sushi is alright. I had better in Canada. Little bit more love and care would go a long way. This sushi is has usually cuts in it. Sauce over it. The guy just slapped the fish on rice. What you pay is what you get.

Great sushi at a great place!

Ok it's a bit boring to go to Sushi Zanmai when you're in Sapporo but this chain is like my sushi McDonald's. You can be sure to get the same menu and consistent quality. I had the aburi toro and it's one of the few sushi places I don't feel embarrassed to order this (some fine sushi restaurants consider it an insult to order aburi toro, it's as if you don't consider their toro fresh enough). Open 24 hours, English menu available, and friendly service.

Just an average sushi restaurant in susukino. Always crowded with foreigners. Some were only curious about how the taste were. Apparently, there are far more better restaurant of this kind around susukino, nijo market & central market. Prices here are just average to the budget. Unfortunately, photo taking was not allowed inside when I tried this outlet.

It was cold and windy... the waiter at the door( I think that is what u would call him) was quick to get is a place at the bar for us. Excellent service I’d say, we ordered the set and that tasted really good. Value for money and a sure place to come after 11pm for a quick bit and drinks.

Located in the middle of the city. Moderate price but the food are fresh. Recommend those fatty tuna it was so fresh and delicious.
