Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse

I came here to celebrate my birthday. The drinks and food were on point. I highly recommend the lemon drop martini. They put dry ice in it, looks awesome. Great place to get a drink, celebrate any special occasion or date night. I will be back.

Wow...incredible service, incredible food. Two issues 1) Be prepared to pay as this place is NOT inexpensive. 2) Not a good place for a business meeting as the tables are closely packed and the place is LOUD!!!

Have spent many a company Christmas party and end of year celebrations at Mastros City Hall in Scottsdale. It was the most satisfying $2000.00+ meal I've ever had.This is a place you will expect consistently great service and the finest foods and spirits.

I had my usual at a steakhouse... 6 ounce filet. It lacked luster for me. We eat at a lot of steakhouses so I can’t say that it was bad, it just didn’t live up to the hype and certainly didn’t come close to Dominic’s steakhouse. There was little selection on the sides and there were no toppings for your steak. Not bad but we won’t be going there again.

Best steak ever! Not the cheapest place to eat but the service is flawless; warm, attentive and fast. The lighting was a little dim for me, but I guess that's the atmosphere they're going for. If you're a meat lover make sure your add the bone marrow butter - so good. It seemed to fill up fast, and that was on a week day so I think booking in advance is your best bet.

This is a fancy high end dining experience. The food is absolutely incredible and the cocktails were great as well. This is always a go to place for my husband and I for a special occasion or date night.

I’m wary of chains but this locale did not disappoint. Asked me to take off my cap and I obliged but noticed others wearing caps...so there’s that. Everything we had was superb: oysters w killer, atomic hRadish, carpaccio w martinis (love the blue cheese olives and the personal shaker), k city bone n strip, and the thickest cut veal chop I’ve ever been served...and yes they are piping hot as advertised. Great selection of French reds was nice and u must try the truffle shrooms if u get any sides at all. Attentive service solid choice of aperitifs if u like.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was my first time at the restaurant and the service was superb. The food was delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant. Chris and Gary gave me exceptional service and they were highly knowledgeable of the menu.

Incredible! It appeared to be a bit dark because we went during the day. Just fantastic ambiance. Superb food and attention to guests. Above Standards! We will frequent this fine establishment again.

Stopped in for a quick dessert right at opening. Staff was quick and attentive even though we only ordered a dessert. Great experience as always. Try the butter cake!

The whole experience was just ok. The pretzel bread that they served us was completely raw dough in the middle. The steaks were good, but not great. The lobster mashed potatoes, which used to be one of my favorites here, were so soupy your couldn’t eat them with a fork. When they brought our food out they forgot our green beans and had to go back for them. The Mastro’s restaurants used to be my favorites in the valley but I have to say they have declined tremendously since they were bought out. For the money you spend to dine here, the food and service should be on point every time. There are much better options in this price range. I don’t see myself heading back.
