Masa of Echo Park

Ingredients were tasty. Reminded me of the Geno's franchise in Chicago, but I think I'd try the bar pizza next time, and I'd definitely skip that sausage patty altogether, unless you really love a massive amount of sausage.Looking forward to trying their bar pie with mushrooms next time.

Love this place! My girlfriend and I have been wanting to try this ever since we walked past it after a concert at the wiltern. The lighting is moody and romantic so of course we did the cliche thing and went on valentines day! It was perfect. I wish I could remember our servers name but she was awesome and reccomended we split a small Chicago style deep dish pizza! Guys. Girls. Who ever is reading this... it is SO good. It takes 45m to make but we ordered drinks and chilled and talked and our server had our pizza order in as soon as we sat down. Excellent beer, wine, pizza, bread. You name it, it is delicious. Will definitely be going back! Pro tip: Parking is a bit of a pain so if you shoe up past 9pm, find a free parking lot outside.

Had this pizza quite a few times and not once has it ever disappointed. Such an incredible staff as well, on my last visit, I placed an order on my way home for work to pickup without having properly estimated the time it would take. They asked for me to arrive in 15-20, I showed up over an hour later. Once I arrived, they told me the pizza would be cold, to which I responded was okay!

A cozy and friendly place. My wife and I ate off the vegan menu and were very impressed by everything. The salad, garlic bread, and deep dish pizza were wonderful. I'd recommend getting the small deep dish, we could only eat half of the medium!

I enjoy coming here. It's a tiny little place, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Culver City. Plenty of free street parking in the evening. It's a place where you can come and have a relaxing dinner and conversation in a quiet place.The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The hummus is really great and my favorite is the falafel sandwich.

The wait is always worth it. The staff is welcoming. Whether you go on a date, with friends or with your family (including babies) they always treat you the same. Love this place. Great food and awesome staff!

My friends and I agreed best pizza we've ever eaten! We have had authentic Deep Dish pizza in Chicago before and not only is this just like it, it was a better tasting recipe than some of the most reputable restaurants in Chicago! Next time I'm in LA we'll definitely be going back to this spot!

This place has a great ambiance with candlelight (not the battery-operated ones) and great quaint decor. All waitresses were very friendly and we were even greeted by the manager (or owner, not sure?). We ordered the large Traditional Chicago Deep Dish. Normally, I opt for thin crust, but was coaxed into this the deep dish by my coworker who frequents this restaurant. The crust was actually amazing with a bit of flakiness and slightly seasoned. A couple of my coworkers who normally refrain from eating the crust devoured theirs this time. The ingredients were great as well. The tomato paste had diced tomato, the mozzarella was delicious and the tasty sausage was in a small quasi-patty form. Although, it may seem trivial, their crushed red pepper (which usually consists of a death rattle to dispense just a few flakes) easily came out in the right amount. If I'm ever in the area, I'll be sure to patron this place again.

Good try...I'm from Chicago and they did pretty good at stuffing the cheese in to make it Chicago style... but it's still incomparable to Lou Malati's.

Echo Park Gem. Every single thing on the menu is delicious....but come on...I can’t ever go there and not have the deep dish. You will always leave full and with left overs and they aren’t stingy with anything. The owner of the restaurant is a total sweetheart. I’m always happy when he delivers the food to my table. Thanks guys!

Great place! Outdoor covered seating on the strip...great to socialize or people watch. Pizza is delicious and they sell by the slice! I always stop a few times in Los Angeles. They sell beer. And the people that work there are so friendly and fun!

This spot is worth a visit. They serve big portions for fair prices. Regularly well kept and with awesome ambience. Highly recommended.

So far the best Chicago style pizza I’ve had around so cal. They are very generous with the toppings. The deep dish crush and salad bread are delightful. There is a paid parking lot just across the street behind the building. Waitress very friendly and helpful. Yes it’s a 45+ wait for this kinda pizza. I recommend calling in if staving. 😋 Anyway don’t really think I have to try any other Chicago style places. I really like this one. I don’t have to wait till 5:00 pm to get pizza. Just remember if u come on a Friday echo park has there farmers market and it takes up one of the parking lots. So come early that day, or get a ride. I got a spot that had almost 2hrs on it still. 😁

Initially my group wanted Pizza, but not the required wait time. So be we ordered foods we could get right away. And it was GOOD !! I Am all about "genuine" service. And here it is very authentic.. Service is exceptional!! I've been here years Ago. To come back to introduce some new friends to the place. They are now Fans, and have ALREADY gone back to take Their friends!! And so it goes....
