Mark's Place

Highly recommended, had to try Mark’s Place. There are a lot of options. I had the teriyaki beef and my husband had the Korean chicken. Both served with rice and Mac salad. HUGE portions!!! You get a work out carrying your food. We had it for lunch and ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. Busy place, but very efficient ordering and paying, went quickly.

Had a craving for a good beef stew...and...I GOT IT!! WAS WELL WORTH THE MONTH WAIT...AS DELICIOUS AS I REMEMBER!! KEEP IT UP...MISS YOU GUYS.

Loved the options for food! Had gluten free cookies. Was quaint, had outdoor seating. Busy but fast service. Happy bellies. Great food! Parking lot.

The best plate lunches! Dessert was delicious too.

Very nice staff. Inexpensive standard Hawaiian food. Ketchup based sauce for chicken. I recommend the teriyaki chicken. No soft drinks, but they do have bottled drinks. All around a solid option.

First time I've been there, got a mini box of teriyaki chicken and rice. It was delicious. I was brought by a local that said I had to come here and try this place out. Good choice.No inside seating just the outside tables. This day it rained and everything was wet so we ate the car.

You would never know this place was there if you didn't know about it because its tucked back in an industrial part of Lihue. One of our guides who's a local recommended it and we're glad we checked it out. The famous mix plate is enough to feed two people. All of the meat, especially the teriyaki beef, was great but all the sides weren't necessary. The rice was a lot plus is also came with macaroni salad and low mein that were both lacking flavor. If we went back, I'd just get the mini of the teriyaki beef and the Korean chicken and forget about the carbs. The teriyaki beef was phenomenal. The flavor was amazing with just the right texture. The Korean chicken was also excellent with a slightly sweet flavor and extra juicy. I can definitely see why this is a local favorite.

We ordered dinner for our whole family here (4 adults and 3 kids) will vacationing in Hawaii. I got the beef stew which had great flavor. I could have stood for the beef to be a little more tender... But still a great dish. The kids enjoyed their burger. My husband got the Korean chicken - which is small pieces of marinated and deep fried chicken... And it was really good!!! The teriyaki chicken was great too - though it's not a saucy chicken... More of a marinated then barbequed chicken (but no additional sauce). We would totally come back to this place!

This place is absolutely delicious and the staff are remarkably wonderful. We ordered the Hawaiian plate (which comes with Kalua Pig) and also a mixed plate. Both were absolutely amazing! The Mac salad is the best I've had in Hawaii, and there were delicious noodles with the Hawaiian plate that were awesome. Definitely a MUST stop by. The desert was delicious as well.

Great affordable and delicious food. Definitely a local spot to hangout. We got two plate lunches - which is what this place is known for and were not disappointed. Portions for the plate lunches are big so you could split them or have one on your own if you're really hungry.

Best Hawaiian food we had on the island. Portions are huge for the price and staff was very helpful and friendly

We LOVED it here! Ate here a couple times during our trip. A local had recommended it. The food was excellent, the green tea pie was ridiculously good!

Tasty food (love the teriyaki chicken), good portions, enough for two meals. Parking is a bit tight, but otherwise a good place to go.

OMG! Great place to have a quick meal huge portions. This place is definitely on my must stop
