Market District

The selection is great here for any type of food you are looking for. The beer and wine section has more than enough so that you dont have to make a second stop. There are numerous specialty foods that you can get here that are moderately priced.

A bit more pricey than other grocery stores, but the selection is awesome, you'll always find fresh meats and produce, and the customer service approach by all employees is top notch.

This review could vary from 3-5 stars, but it all depends on what time you go. I love it for the Eagles Nest that still exists, Starbucks and curbside pickup. My dislikes are why they keep moving everything around to different places like it's an episode of super market sweep. Another dislike is the fee for curbside - other giant eagles have curbside offered for free while this specific Market District charges $5, unless you book 2 days in advanced, then it's free. I'll drive another mile to get free pick up. Lines are always long and the fact that they've removed the bagging duty from the lines makes things move at a snail's pace because the cashier's have to multitask. Guess that's why you pay a premium to shop there? Other perks is the free WiFi and seating area of you'd like to meet up for lunch or coffee and get some work done.

So incredibly busy, with very narrow isles. But the employees were very friendly and very helpful. Prices seem to be higher than other Giant eagle stores though. But I like how everything is laid out very cleanly, with good quality options.

The fish counter was set up with beautiful fish so fresh can't wait to have it I got swordfish and tuna

This is a really great place to go if you can only go to one food store for the rest of your life. Ive been confused a couple of time and the staff would always be friendly and help me out if I ever got lost or couldn't find something. Prices may be a bit higher but its honestly worth it.

I love the Market District the store is large and has everything you need from a grocery store. The only thing that disappointed me today was my cashier Celeste D. She spent way too much time chatting with the customer and in the process was double scanning items. Therefore she had to call for the supervisor to fix her errors. Also she was busy looking to see what you purchased. I thought she was trying to decide if she wanted to go shopping and get most of what I was purchasing. Spent way too much time in her line. On my next trip I will be sure not to get in her line.

Best grocery store ever. They have a massive salad bar. Fresh sushi. Fresh pizza. Fresh meat. You name it. They need to put one in my town.
