I have one word- CORNCAKES. Get them as soon as you are able. You will not regret it.

Came in @8:00pm, waitress promptly let us know the restaurant closed @9:00pm.The waitress would have rather been somewhere else than to be at work.Rushed us to order and had an attitude until it was time to give us the check. Then wanted to know if we would like to see the desert menu to enhance the total to increase her tip.So sad.I guess she was a Baltimore Ravens fan.

I brought my mother to this restaurant during my weekend visit to Lynchburg. It was our first time here, and we had heard many good things about the place. This Saturday afternoon, the place was packed, with a high share of college-age students. The waitress was very helpful and answered questions we had regarding the menu. Mom tried the French Onion soup; she liked the soup and cheese but said the bread/pastry covering could have been crispier. We each got a burger (the Bishop and the Cavalier); they were thick enough that Mom remarked it was hard to get into her mouth! They were very tasty. We plan to visit again in the future.

Food was good. Service was poor. Our order was wrong twice. By the time it was corrected the rest of our party were done eating. They comped our all the meals though.

Excellent chicken and waffles. Our waitress was friendly and hardworking. The staff seemed positive. A great place to go with friends.

Great food for adults and kids! and a fun downtown location too. If your visiting the amazement square, this would make a great spot to get some lunch.
