Market 5-ONE-5

Could be better, but I'd choose this over the Co-op over on 29th street. Lol

Pretty good selection of yummy things. Very highly priced. ($4 for Whipping Cream, $6 for raspberries). Staff are not very kind or customer service oriented. They always look at me as a non-person. I'm in there at least once a week for grocery emergencies and no one knows my name or even introduces themselves. Most of the time they don't even look at me. I figure I'm not their demographic. Or, at least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. lol

I thought this place would be really bougie but was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in. It's a lot like a small, compact Whole Foods but somehow doesn't feel like it's lacking in space at all. The items I purchased were much cheaper than they are at the Co-op which I wasn't expecting at all. It's pretty much perfect for the neighborhood. I'll definitely be frequenting Market 5-One-5.
