Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill

We stopped by for appetizers and drinks to watch the sunset. Excellent service. A bit pricy but first class all the way. The staff is highly attentive. Outstanding bar selection. The view is beautiful, espically at sunset.

Most amazing steak I have ever had. Had the filet. I don't even like mushrooms but the sauce was done perfectly. I wouldn't give the waiter 5 stars though. He was knowledgeable on the menu but not very personable.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Celebrated my dad's 80th birthday there along with my sisters and will cherish that memory as incredibly special. Loved it so much that my wife and I traveled from KC 6 months later and enjoyed it just as much the second time. A majestic view, beautiful architecture, great service and great food.

Travelled to here from Germany and wanted to celebrate a unique birthday dinner with a group of 12 people and ended up waiting for 2:37 hours for food. During waiting no sides or snacks offered to cover the waiting. Costs were compensated but night destroyed.

Great food and service. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and was well worth it. Best food we had in Sedona.

Overpriced and Underwhelmed.My friend and I ordered the tomahawk dinner for two. We had to share everything but the salad. Appetizer was in one container with four shrimp 2 for each of us. Then we received individual salads. When our main meal was served, we received empty plates and had to dish everything up ourselves. Lastly, dessert was some berries with whip cream, again in one container that we had to eat together. For $175 plus tip and tax I expected a whole lot more. Oh my bad I shouldn't have had high expectations for a super pricey restaurant. To end on a positive note, the Views are gorgeous.

Delicious food and creative cocktails. Spacious and cozy interior, was too cold and dark to sit outside during our visit however looks like a lovely option when available. Definitely a nicer restaurant for the area and prices reflect that however the value is absolutely there.

With a view like Mariposa the food almost doesn’t matter; lucky for all the food is as good as the ambiance provided by the natural beauty of Sedona.

Had some great appetizers and a meal to share and a great delicious desert. Our server Thomas was great.

Views are amazing and would be hard to beat! Food was excellent, I loved the ham and cheese croissant and fries! Service was okay, our server told us about the special but failed to mention the fish tacos that I heard multiple other servers talking to their tables about. We waited awhile in the end to get our check and overall just felt the service was just okay. I would have given it that extra star had we had that perfect service! Overall I would recommend and we might actually try it again to try something different on the menu.

First and foremost, the views were incredible. Our server, John, was polite and informative. With all of that being said, it took about an hour and a half for our food to come out after we ordered, and even when it came out, it was cold. I was extremely disappointed, especially having to pay over a $250 bill for late and cold food.

Delicious! Beautifully constructed, layed out, and designed. Nature meets industrial age. The offering was well thought out and quaint! The service was wonderful from the people who helped park to the service on the table! Kind and welcoming place to enjoy some great food!
