Rated this a 5 star 1st n 2nd breakfast but 3rd waitress never came back to us and my husband d didn't eat his breakfast because he needed more syrup. Don't care how busy or short staff, take care of all paying customers. Very disappointed, not same care as we had before. 😥

First time visiting. Clean, comfortable feeling restaurant. We we're greeted quickly and provided water and a menu. We were there for dinner. There was a good selection of dishes, sandwiches and burgers. Prices are what I would say is slightly high, but not unreasonable. Service was very good. After ordering, we received our food pretty quickly. The food was good and well flavored. I would return.

The food while hot it just lacked flavor. No seasonings on anything....just bland food. Friendly staff and seemed to know most people who came through the door. 4 of us ate and no one was in disagreement....it just needed some flavor.

Do not order fish and chips. Especially not the Halibut. Which was dry and mostly breading. It looks like the product came right out of the freezer into the oil. The bill was about $40 for two people. And we drank water. I had the Mariner hamburger on sourdough bread which was good but dry. Nothing special here. Maybe they will do better at breakfast.

Good breakfast. I had the standard 2 egg and meat breakfast but the menu was full of other delicious looking stuff. Staff was very attentive, friendly and worked well together.

The Mariner Cafe has been our go-to restaurant for years! Try the home made pie, strawberry lemonade, thick chowder or anything on the breakfast menu! Delicious salads, good fish and chips etc.. Marie and her staff are great!
