Maria's Mexican Restaurant

Ate there tonight. Average queso, small portion. Had the beef fajita enchiladas with an egg on top. Food was decent , nothing to rave about. Only one sever and she was overwhelmed. So average food, sub par service. Give it a try, but don't plan to return.

Took my family to Maira’s Mexican Restaurant, first time there. And the staff was friendly, but the food was the worst I have had. Myself and my son both had the runs the next day. Would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

The food was good. They seemed understaffed the night we went so it took forever to get our beverages and food. But I give them props for keeping up with things with basically only 2 people running the restaurant and however many cooks in the back.

Ely Allington and Captain America we see that you are the same person with the same complaint and the same picture.Although we appreciate your lengthy critique of our restaurant of which much we will take into careful consideration, we would love to have you speak with us if you have a problem and to give us an opportunity to correct it while you are here. We are a small family owned business and I'm sure you know how difficult it is for any business to keep up their ratings when the same person gives 2 very low scores.All our plates are different in both portion and pricing and if you were hungry we have several plates that would easily fill you.But because the portions are larger, the price tag is also usually a bit more.Again thank you for your suggestions and we will take them all under serious consideration.

First time. LOVED it. Can't understand why it wasn't packed on a Friday night. Good and flavor was outstanding, and the chips and taco shells are a perfect crispy texture. A hidden gem in a small town atmosphere. Will DEFINITELY be back!

The Mexican Margarita is great here. I would put their drinks and food up against any other in town. Surprised they are not more busy!

We are not from Leander but stopped here to eat and the food was delicious! The hot sauce had great flavor! I was happy.

This place has great drinks and great food. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. By far the best place in Leander/Cedar park for authentic Mexican food.

I love it!!! It is the go to places for my family when we want to go out and eat. The drinks are really great, the food just keeps getting better every time we go. The staff are the sweetest people you ever need, they are always making sure we have everything and we good. I would eat breakfast, lunch and do there if I could.

The food is average, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. The mixed beverages are also just ok. Nothing above the same things you get at any other "Mexican" (more like plain tex-mex) restaurant.

We heard they had new owners so decided to give them a try again, it was barely edible. Poor quality ingredients.
