SOOOOO good! My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this place. Such a great selection of clean and healthy food items (particularly in the salad bar area). I love the fact they are following traditional recipe and do not westernize hummus and babaghanoush by adding cream to it! SO unnecessary! Love everything about this place...and on the naughty evenings I sometimes order sweet potato fries which are out of this world - might be the best i've had to date! Great value for money and extremely filling as well. Highly recommend!

Very small but really cute restaurant. Food was shockingly delicious 😋 The service was friendly and fast.

Very clean, fast easy service. Traditional Maoz choices, but also have chicken and beef shawarma. Like a kid in a candy store building my plate from self serve condiments and salads. My 14 year old grooved on it too!Dreaming about a Maoz in Denville NJ

Nice food. Fast service. Even in a crowded place like 8th Ave, the wait time was literally 2 mins. Good for a quick meal. Can't have it everyday though.

Last time I was there, I ordered VEG shawarma and it said so on my receipt. The guy cooking in the kitchen put actual chicken in my container. They need to be more careful.

The food was real tasty. You can add as much sides as you want to be put after selecting the protein and base. Only thing is, it is really pricey.

Nice place to get a shawarma bowl or wrap, and includes access to a salad bar.

Food was flavorful and priced reasonably but was not fresh. You can tell that the add-ons and sauces in the poorly ventilated self-service bar have been sitting there for hours. Service was sloppy. The food preparer dropped one of our orders on the floor and had to go back to the kitchen to get a new plate. I left the place with an upset stomach, probably from the add-ons that have started to go bad and/or the way the food was prepared.

Its not good Mediterranean spot for a fast casual kind of place. The food just isn't authentic nor is it cooked properly. Falafel is super greasy. The brown rice was undercooked and bland. I won't be visiting ever again.

This was my first time at this location. I didn't even know that they had fries. Food was delicious.

An insult to the branch. Dirty tables, dirty salad section, cashier was fine but the server slapping a slab of hummus on top of the pita cause they forgot to put it in the pita in advance - is an insult. Pitas are dry and it brings down the level even lower... Nah, there's much better options.

For quick and (relatively) cheap food near times square, Maoz was not bad. The food was fresh and flavors were good, but the "salad bar" system doesn't port well to a pita sandwich and I ended up with all the tasty things on top and the last few bites were pretty bland and half lettuce. You might have better luck with a bowl. Also, I'm not sure what was going on with the falafel but they seemed a little burnt on the outside. Overall, it was decent and it's hard to find fast, cheap food in this area, so I give them credit for that.

Lots of extra free toppings here really make the difference. My family and I enjoyed our falafel pitas here at Maoz. We'd first tried Maoz in Paris and got hooked! The options here are great for vegetarians, and the toppings really stood out to me. I also ordered some extra falafels patties because they were so light and delicious.
