Manny’s Cafeteria and Delicatessen

Cafeteria style dining with large portions of supremely tasty food with a welcoming atmosphere. The coffee shop area is also full of great little treats. Recommend coming with a group of friends or family so you can eat family-style and try a bit of everything.

Food is great but expensive. If you like deli you have to try at least once. Pastrami is the best in the world. Gino is still there slicing it up😃

The absolute highlight of our locked down days at home so far was the arrival of a “care package” from Manny’s - the only deli that matters anywhere in Chicago. Our order included most of our all-time favorites and they tasted even better than ever; pastrami, latkes, beef stew, chicken noodle soup with matzo balls and kreplach, roast chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables, cole slaw and - the piece de resistance - cherry pie! Until the current crisis is over and you can go to Manny’s restaurant, do you and your family a big favor and place a delivery order. Mmmmmmmmmm!!!

Our first time trying Manny’s was during the stay at home order. We saw online that they were offering delivery to Schaumburg and placed our order for pickup at the library. We went a little overboard with our order since REAL delicatessen is a special treat and not available near Schaumburg. Our corned beef and pastrami sandwiches were awesome and PLENTIFUL! Each sandwich had at least 1lb of meat. The potato pancakes were as good as they good be since they were not right out of the frying pan. The kreplach soup was the best I’ve had, really really good. Matzo ball was good too but not my fave. Our order came with all the fixings including amazing pickles and horseradish deli mustard. Overall a great experience! We plan to order again when Schaumburg delivery is available again.

An amazing classic Jewish deli with cafeteria-style service. Hot and cold sandwiches, soups, knishes, latkes, hot entrees and specials are all delicious. The desserts range from super traditional (prunes) to fruit and cream pies, donuts and black and white cookies (shortbread style, not sponge). The bakery and deli counter has everything from bagels, lox and pastrami to brownies and lemon bars. There are plenty of familiar faces working throughout the restaurant, which is always a good sign.

Would definitely recommend visiting this place. Excellent vibes, delightful dishes, great customer service. They never disappoint.

If you want to support a business during these difficult times, order from Manny's. Because of these difficult times our friend Valentin who works at Manny's has been working two days a week. However, the restaurant owner is providing his workers and their households with a meal every day since all of this started. This means a lot to our friend.

Manny’s soups are something magical. Nothing heals you faster than their incredible broth. Our freezer has an “in case of emergency” stash now! But besides their soups, everything is delicious and portions beyond generous! Staff are all a true delight and don’t pass up their bakery treats! Kids will dons the selection of old school candy awesome as well.

Wow cant get enough of the pastrami sandwich! If you haven been there try it awesome. I had two and a half sandwiches of pastrami cause one wasnt enough

Born, raised, and lived here for 40 years. First time here. Now I understand the hype. Why did I wait so long? Definitely will be back!

The homemade soups are tremendous. They are made very fresh and are very healthy. There is a new soup of the day each day. The Roasted Turkey dinner is my personal favorite. The Apple Honey Cake is magnificent. The various salads especially the Michigan Avenue is very fresh with garden/farm fresh vegetables. The service is exceptional. The staff and management team work well together to make each visit a memorable occasion. The restrooms are very sanitary clean and have plenty of hand soap. The restaurant has a reputation for Tremendous Breakfast and Lunch which they do but their Dinner Menu is as solid as any other place in the greater Chicago land area. Come for dinner especially families and one will be full and very happy. Attend!!!

My husband and many of our friends has been going here for years. I love the corn beef and pastrami sandwiches. Pastrami being my favorite. I've NEVER eaten a better tasting Pastrami sandwich! I always enjoy our visits to Manny's. I've never left disappointed. If you're looking for a great corn beef and/or pastrami sandwich Manny's is the place.

I had Manny’s on Saturday via their suburban delivery. I picked up in Oak Brook. It was great! The soup was still warm when I got it. As usual, everything tasted sooooo delicious! I am going to put in another for for their May delivery. Such a great way to have Manny’s during this crazy time 👍
