My wife and I ate dinner at Anju on Valentine’s Day this year. Although the food was fantastic, the service was even better. Eric, the manager, was extremely helpful in helping us with our needs. (My wife is in a wheel chair). They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, could get into the restaurant, and had an accessible place to sit. By far the best, most welcoming accessible restaurant experience we have ever had. It sets the bar high on what it means to be accessible! Just call ahead, let them know your needs and they will be of help. And the food is great!

Words that come to mind... Thoughtful, balanced, confident, delicious, gracious, unique, proud, welcoming. Chef is a star, GM is too. The food was generous and demands a return visit. Tornado Potato, spiced chicken, kimchi pancake, dumplings... Just go!

This was our first time ordering from Anju and we were so happy! The food was great but the best part was how accommodating they were for a gluten and shellfish allergy and how easy the pickup was. Thank you, Anju! We’ll be back.

On the high side of 4 stars, this sits as a very tasty place with a combination of good service, artful food, and fresh and flavorful dishes embracing Korea.- The potato dish is an easy pick. Crispy, flavorful, fatty, it's hard to go wrong, unless you're on a strict diet. - The hotdog is delicious. Great combination of a classic US hotdog with kimchi. - The dumplings were fine. I've eaten variations of this song the world and these were adequate.- Fried Chicken was excellent, and worth the calories. The sauce is semi subtle and a wonderful complement.I would come back for more.

We got there right as they opened and were able to get a group of 6 seated with no issue. I think people arriving after 5:30 were turned away. The happy hour menu is really good and the prices are reasonable. We all enjoyed the food and the staff were amazing.

Really excellent. Slightly fancy but, open late with a wonderful menu. Highly recommend their house made Soju

Anju was amazing. The service, food, beverage program were all extremely well thought out. Alex the bartender was welcoming and his cocktails were on point. Good luck getting a table, but maybe you will find a spot at the bar. Cannot wait to come back.

Chinese/Korean fusion food to tickle the olfactory and taste buds senses, surpassed culinary expectations, pricey yet well worth the exceptional cuisine experience, pleasant and patient server as we had an accompanying toddler who surprised us with enjoyment of the fine, high quality meat (beef, chicken, dumpling pork) and vegetables by using chopsticks for the first time. A definite Must visit restaurant when in DC! Washington Post highly rated ANJU.

As rated number 1 on Washingtonian's top 100 restaurant in the DMV area for 2020, as well as being categorized as "moderate" I knew I had to try it out. I invited my brother out for his birthday as we're both fans of Korean food. We loved the fried chicken and seared galbi- cooked to a tender sizzle. Our winning dish of the night was their fish shaped waffle. The first bite is a bit odd but the more we ate, the more flavors our we tasted. It's not my number 1 of 2020, but it is definitely worth the trip.

Nice presentation, friendly staff. Food was good but the service was better. Ssam Board was presented very nicely but the flavors just were not there. The Saengseon Gui, pan-fried branzino was really good. Great flavors especially with the red peppers. The spicy fried chicken was okay. The infused Makkoli was interesting mint & chocolate but I'm a traditionalist and still like the original flavor. This stuff is becoming more popular in the states finally. All in all a pretty good experience.

Delicious food and great service by flexible staff. If it's this good under quarantine, I can imagine how much better it is in person! Will have to go back soon!
