Manakeesh Cafe Bakery & Grill

Just get the Philly cheese steak, ginger ale and you will not regret it. It was my first time here and a friend took me to show this place, and I think I fell in love with the Philly Cheese Steak all over again! The people in the counter were extremely friendly and helpful and let us decide and take our own time to place an order realizing that it was our first time there. This is definitely a recommended food joint around Philly.

Great flavorful food. The restaurant is really popular for it's middle-eastern cuisine, which means you can expect crazy wait times. Service is slow and a little disorganized, but the food is worth the wait. The bakery is great too, serving delicacies such as different varieties of baklavah, as well as great fresh juices.

Food is really good. Baklava is fantastic. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff especially Mona. I really enjoy the potato and cauliflower sandwich with burger sauce. They had paper straws which was good but then is seems they changed back to plastic, but for the most part the plates and boxes are paper. That's a plus. I do wish they would have more whole grain things. Definitely come back
