Mamaveca Mexican And Peruvian Restaurant

The Peruvian menu does not disappoint for a good meal and fun experience. My family loves coming here together for family dinners when we are all in town. The service is very friendly and they bring plenty of chips AND homemade tasting tortillas for your salsa and quest enjoyment. Very accomodating and I always have a hard time deciding what to eat because it all tastes so authentic and there is a very wide variety of items on the menu. There is also a fun llama textured mural on the wall that we love seeing when we enter. Plus, the margarita options are on point!

My first time here and I really liked it. Service was great, atmosphere was good and the margarita was outstanding. I had a fajita quesadilla and the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Beans were good and so were the cheese and salsa dippers. I'll be back for sure

The tortillas were fresh, the queso and salsa tasty. I'm not adventurous when it comes to trying the Peruvian dishes, which looked good, but my Pollo Al Carbon was wonderful! Great flavors, a very pleasant surprise in a convenient location. Highly recommend.

The salsa that comes with the chips is good. The homemade flour tortillas are so delicious! I ordered the pollo saltado.. it was more red onion than chicken..but it was still good. We ordered the papas which were good as well.I do recommend the chicha morada for a drink!

Food was amazing! I had the Fajita Enchilada, my Dad had the Chili Riano. Both dishes were wonderful! The price was less then expected. Will go again and again.

I used to drive all the way to Norman for the Paella and Ceviche. I'm glad they are so close now. Highly recommend.

My wife and I decided to try it out. The have a full bar and a really good menu. She had the chimichanga and I tried the chaufer de pollo. Both were excellent. We will definitely be back

Have you tried their soup it is the best EVER !Each dish the taist comes alive. We love the fish tacos and I love the chicken flautas

A great dining experience. Good food, pleasant atmosphere, quick and attentive service, and reasonable prices. I will definitely be recommending to friends and will be planning a return visit myself.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and visit. The dining area was very clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. My Peruvian style dish was excellent with a distinctive flavor. My wife had a Mexican dish that was also delicious. This was our first visit but there will many more in the future. Nice job!

Best of Both Worlds. If you like Mexican you can get Mexican if you like Peruvian you get Peruvian so my opinion one of the best mixed culture restaurants in the north west side of Oklahoma City. If you're feeling something new I suggest looking at their Peruvian menu. Chips and salsa are wonderful, always fresh, and with a added bonus they serve homemade tortillas. Oh and BTW our drinks will never empty. I went there with a group of about 7 people and had a wonderful time.

Mine and my husband's favorite mexican restaurant!!! The food is absolutely amazing along with the service. We proudly recommend this place to everyone!!!

First time to Mamaveca. EXCELLENT all the way around! House Margaritas were stellar and my wife got a peach margarita, which I honestly will likely order myself next time. Wife had the chicken chimichanga and I got fajita enchiladas (one beef, one chicken). Both were KILLER. I don't normally leave reviews, but this place deserves 5 stars +. Will definitely be back.
