Mama's Fried Chicken & Pizza

This restaurant is nice and roomy, the meals was delightful and the rates were very affordable. rapidly, productive service and very welcoming staff members. I recommend this place.

On our way back from Texas we we're looking for a non fast food restaurant for lunch and ran across Mama's Fried Chicken which had some pretty decent reviews and decided to give it a try. I have chicken salad sandwich in my daughter had some fried chicken along with some mashed potatoes and gravy and some fried okra. The food was excellent. We had pretty good timing cuz after we ordered it got rather busy!

Second time coming to Mama's Fried Chicken. Came all the way from Texas on our way to New Orleans. This is a must exit place to eat. Food is hot and perfectly cooked. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stopping back by on Sunday. Thanks again for being a comfort food stop.

Very very very good food. From the shrimp to the burgers everyone was stuffed and smiling. I cant say enough about how good the food was. Service was great and this place was clean clean. One of my new favorite places to eat. I give it👍👍

Stopped by here during my holiday visit back home and wasn't disappointed. The food is always on point - ALWAYS! Everybody from that area knows that Mama's is the spot for all things fried, with a side of seasoned fries, a large cup of some fresh squeezed lemonade and dessert if you don't burst from eating so much. If you're visiting out that way, go check them out. Guaranteed 👍👍

The fried chicken is moist, seasoned well, and delicious! I also got the shrimp po boy which was almost as good.

Every time we are anywhere near Opelousas we have to go to Mama's to eat their outstanding food. I always get fried catfish with rice dressing, and my wife gets chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Their catfish is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Their rice dressing tends to be a little peppery but not over the top. The staff is friendly and welcoming, too.

It was my first time visiting and I find this place to be great, food is delicious and the employees are friendly. The service is unbelievable and fast I would recommend to everyone and I will visit again soon. Thanks guys for the great service keep up the good work.

Their gumbo is soooooo bomb 💣. My mouth watering thinking about it 😩😩
