Love is an ingredient at this little joint. The mashed potatoes were the best I'd ever had in my life. Seriously. Ever. The fried chicken was great. The ladies working the counter we're amazing and made us feel right at home. The row of pies available was impressive and so very tempting. I'm glad we don't live closer.

Too small of a place chicken was raw' and everything was way to salty and taste like came out of a box not homemade there was 4 of us at table we will not be back. 1 meat 3 sides $10.99 to leave hungry full plates left. And koolaid and tea tasted like sugar. Checked out and wasn't asked how it was or thankyou and comeback. To many seats fire hazard. Can't get out of the place you had too. Oh big holes in parking lot first impression poor.

I'll start with the wings. They advertise a whole wing. I got 6 pieces of cheap wings. It's hard to explain but the meat on the wings was very fatty and stringy. The Mac n cheese and the greens were extremely salty. Also each plate came out every 5 minutes there was 4 of us. My friend got his no lie 20 minutes after I got mine.

I was in OKC visiting from Tulsa and I truly enjoyed my meal here. The staff was helpful and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back someday

Came to Oklahoma City for some business. After driving 6 hours from Shreveport Louisiana, I was good and hungry. I love soul food, however, this restaurant isn't it. I called in my order. I ordered a wing basket with cabbage and an extra side of sweet potatoes. Once I arrived at the restaurant it didn't smell of soul food cooking. I was surprised to see the sides were prepared and sitting on line. My sweet potatoes looked like they came out of can and didn't have any taste/ seasoning. My cabbage was nasty 🤢. It was heavily seasoned. The wings were the best part of the dinner and they were extremely greasy. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant on my worst enemy. Needless to say if I ever come back to Oklahoma City I will go to Tez Wing. Not a Soulfood establishment but way better chicken. Also my wing basket along with a pineapple Fanta came to $16 and some change.

Customer service was below expectations. Did not like the way one of the employees made me feel because I asked a lot of questions about menu options plus didn’t like the way she talked bout the customer over the phone in front of us once she hung up.The food was good on a positive side. We had greens cabbage n oxtail just to name a few

It's good for the soul. The ladies are super friendly. The food is amazing. The koolaid is as sweet as it can possibly be.

Customer service was horrible the older lady made me not want to ever eat here again nor refer anyone else. the younger lady that helped me after the older lady walked off was very polite and I appreciated that. the food could have been better the dressing was dry but the sweet potatoes were okay. This is not my favorite place but I just wanted to leave this comment so that it could be know why I said what I said. I bought $30 worth of food and wished I would have spent it elsewhere.

Best food I have had I years. We went in 30 min before close (google failed us on their hours) and they were still super nice and filling the buffet with hot fresh food. It was so good we had them double our orders to take home the goodness!!

We finally made it!! The food was good!! Everything seasoned well. The staff, even more amazing! Very welcoming! Just was not what I thought it would be. On the expensive side, different days sometimes the menu changes I'm told. Such as specials on certain days. Cute set up.

I give this place a 4.5, the chicken wings and waffle are really good! The chicken wings has a nice crispy breading and really good flavor, the waffle has a very light cinnamon flavor, really taste home-made. The mac n cheese is very cheesy which is really nice, greens was a little bit salty but all in all I would go back to this place if I live around the area.

Holy moly never had pig neck before but it was amazing. I am from the East coast and stopped in because of the reviews but if I ever get back out here I will go out of my way to visit again. Matter of fact spoke with a fella from Dallas that makes the trip when he is in town. Keith the owner happened to be working the counter and was a fantastic host and fun to talk to. My wife and I look for funky little places with great food all the time and this is the best find in a long time. Plenty of food for the price. I highly recommend it. Don’t be deterred by the surroundings. I drove up in the dark and it seemed to be in a slightly deserted area but the inside is clean and bright. All thumbs up from me.
