I don’t know what they do to their sauce, it’s so spicy, it’s burning my lips. I can’t finish my cheese slice the sauce is just way too spicy and also taste burnt, and it shouldn’t be 😬. Maybe late at the night they thought people wouldn’t notice but we definitely did and didn’t even finish our slices

The pizza at Mama Celeste's is the best thing to have ever happened to me. The English language does not have the capacity to express how delicious this pizza is, nor is it able to fully encapsulate the feelings I have for Mama Celeste. All I can say is that I would happily endure Dante's nine circles of hell to get a slice.

I don't care what anyone else posts and complains about. Mama Celeste has been my pizza joint for almost a decade now, especially when I go out for a drink or 10 at North Beach. The pizza is amazing, perfectly greasy and delicious to cure the worst of hangovers. Give it a chance and you won't regret it.

The older woman behind the counter with dark hair had a terrible temper and snapped at me several times. I would have sucked it up if it was great food. For semi decent food I would expect better service. I picked up late night food for friends. It was upsetting to be treated so terrible just because it was a late order. We won't be back. Wawa would even be a better option for a late night snack.
