Good food and service. Wonderful menu, something for everyone. Gave 4 stars if they fine tuned the waiting experience - offered drinks to people waiting outside, offered people a place at the bar, etc., We would have enjoyed our time better. We had to figure the bar out for ourselves. We ordered the house wine - not great. Only one Pinot Grigio. Found other wine after searching, the server never offered any suggestions. Really small things but man, these things are the difference between 4 and 5 stars. Still plan to go back a lot!

Since no one is looking at this review?? I guess I should add some text...haha.. I believe it can be pricey, but no way of getting around just how good the food is.. most of the service is ok, and a few are exceptional...but the 5 stars??? Is about the fiid, so guess what?? Sometimes you need to pay for what you get.. just saying..haha

Mama Carpino’s is a wonderful family style Italian eatery with a bar and deli area in addition to the sit-down family style eating with average pricing. I think every Italian dish is represented on their menu and everything is true to its name. Everyone leaves satisfied. As most restaurants this one is a little uncomfortable for those with hearing issues but without doubt worth the visit. Come early, as one-hour wait times are not uncommon. This is my favorite place to eat in Apple Valley. Godspeed.

This place is worth the drive. We came from Whittier and we weren't disappointed. The manicotti was the best I've ever had. The place is nice and comfortable and our server was amazing and friendly, considering we had 15 people! This was my second time there and they replicated our first visit perfectly.

Wow what can I say about this place except they are absolutely simply amazing about their food that they produce. Not only as a delicious but very very eloquently placed on the Plate. Their staff is super friendly and always welcoming as if you are a part of their mama carpinos family. Me and my wife have been going here for over 4 years now and each and every single time that we come here we always try something different and not once have we been disappointed . Their prices are very much worth each and every penny, not to say that they Are high or anything of that nature but they are always worth the price. trust me when I say you have to try their chicken fettuccine Alfredo That you will absolutely fall in love. My wife always gets the shrimp fettuccine Is an absolutely amazement of how delicious it is. All I can say is if you pass by this place do not hesitate to stop please try this place and you will not be let down.

The smell when you walk in is overwhelmingly delicious! Atmosphere was quaint & inviting ... The small deli up front was clean & well stocked... & the staff was friendly and quite helpful . Can't wait to go sit down to enjoy a meal here (we came for deli & bakery)... Everything was fresh and so appetizing...

This is my first time here. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. and I thought the establishment would be a little cramped but once I walked in, I was shocked to see a beautiful up beat but romantic Italian restaurant. The staff, food, setting, and whole vibe here runs circles around Olive Garden. They have a late range of different wines and you can taste the authenticity in the food. They're a little more pricey but they give you A LOT OF FOOD and it isnt half done, every dish was hearty and fresh. I love that it's a romantic setting but people don't feel like they need to be quiet as a mouse, the red conversation, people are laughing, the up beat music is going, and theres a real happy vibe in this restaurant. Best Italian Restaurant in the High Desert!

Pros: This is by far the best authentic Italian food ever. Online waitlist - best technology ever! The experience starts with bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar, followed by choice of soup or salad before the main course. The pasta for each dish was cooked to perfection and the sauces were creamy and full of flavor. The back room (patio) is covered from the elements and they have the fireplace going along with heaters hanging from the rafters. The atmosphere is very relaxing with soft music playing in the background but quiet enough that you can still have a conversation without yelling. If you drink you’ll be glad to know they added a bar a few years back. Cons: Our server had too many tables and it took her a while to get back to us. The inside rooms are much louder than the patio. Parking is a hassle, but worth it. This place gets pretty crowded we’ve waited almost an hour before.

I absolutely love this place! Food tastes amazing and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I also love the diversity in staff. One of the girls in writing down the guests is special needs and the patience the other waitresses and hosts had was amazing to see. I highly recommend and will definitely come back!
