Taco Tuesdays!! Really good salsa. Great margaritas. Excellent food. One of Depot Town's gems. Plan ahead for here because it is Always busy, but worth the wait!

This is by far THE best Mexican food in Ann Arbor/Ypsi/Canton area! As former Texans, this place is our go to restaurant when we want a taste of home. The best part is they have plenty of vegetarian options! And their margarita options are amazing as well. Can't wait for our next visit!

I’m not understanding the people that left bad reviews from Cinco De Mayo 2020.. we are in a pandemic...on Taco Tuesday... at one is the most popular Mexican restaurants in this area. Considering they had to cut well over half their staff, they did the best they could with all the unfortunate circumstances we are ALL in. Every time I have ever been there, even since the pandemic, the food and service has been incredible. I have nothing but nice things to say about their food and staff.

My wife and I have been here twice so far and both times it has been great. The food is amazing and the drinks are great. Our waitresses have always been friendly and the food comes out quick. Great food!

Thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Every single ingredient on the plate had a purpose. So often when you go for Mexican you get a different combination of the same ingredients wrapped in something and covered in cheese. Usually accompanied by rice and beans. Not here. It was obvious the different ingredients were prepared and then combined. The different temperatures and textures made for a great experience. The service was quick and friendly even on a busy Saturday night, but the food is what really stands out. Even the attentive bar tenders that were serving us while we were waiting were on it!

After a wait of 30 minutes, we were served with heavenly food. Amazing chicken fresco tacos and non-alcoholic margarita ❤️ Also chips and salsa were awesome. Great service too!

Went there at the tail end of happy hour for my birthday. During happy hour it's incredibly loud inside the restaurant as to be expected. We had a 25 or so minute wait to be seated. We were seated outside which was kind of a relief because it's much quieter out there. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was excellent, probably some of the best I've had locally. By the time we left walking back through the restaurant it was much quieter and obviously had less people.

The line was extremely long and touted as one of the best places to get authentic Mexican food. However, after waiting for 45 minutes and trying a bunch of dishes with my group, I was only able to verify half of that statement. Maìz is nothing to write home about. It's a hit or miss when it comes to the food. When it hits, it's barely there. Would not be returning, especially not for the overall waiting time + price point.

MAIZ Catering is the caterer everyone wants. Delicious, hot, fresh tacos and sides where ever your heart desires. I e-mailed Kim, their Catering Director, about a week before our meeting was scheduled to ensure we could secure the basic taco bar for lunch. Even though she was out of town she promptly got back to me within a few hours. Kim was very helpful and asked all the right questions to get all the details squared away quickly and professionally. Once Taco Day was here, Kim was right on time with everything we could need and even help me set up. 5/5 would recommend, we will definitely be getting MAIZ Catering in the future.

Let me just preface the review with this: Takeout from any restaurant is like going to work tired, it's not you at your 100%...This was the first time I've tried MAIZ and I'm hear to say if they're takeout is THIS GOOD, best believe I'll be back for dine-in... Wow. They're whole process for picking up is the best I've seen, the order was ready quickly, the staff was very friendly and professional, the food was the best I've had locally. Keep up the good work

This is a great place with fresh food well prepared. Their chips and salsa are great. It can be busy in the evening so plan ahead. I've had about 6-8 different dishes and they were all flavorful and filling.

Great food. This is the Mexican restaurant you have been looking for in AA/Ypsi. Prices are super reasonable, and the amount of food you get for the price will satisfy your biggest eater.Make sure to get your drink frozen, as on the rocks feels like there isn't much drink in your glass. Margaritas are good, fruity ones not too sweet, but the drinks themselves aren't that strong. Overall top notch restaurant that we will go back to.
