Nice food with amazing view. Food seems a little pricey, but definitely delicious.

Don’t listen to any negative reviews. They are probably impatient, looking for a handout, or all around just terrible customers no one should want in their establishment. I’ve been going to Mai Thai for over 10 years and it is the BEST. The flavor of the food is just out of this world. It’s a perfect combination of spice and flavor. In 10 years as a frequent customer I think I’ve had one service issue and one time my food wasn’t as flavorful as normal, but still good. All around great atmosphere, great food, great service. I’ve introduced SO many people to Mai Thai and everyone I’ve recommended has LOVED it. Any negative comments come from impatient, ridiculously picky people who should just eat at home.

EXCELLENT food. However...we had a reservation during a time when the restaurant was pretty slammed, and it just seemed like the entire staff didn't know how to cope. Service was 100% awful from start to finish: seating, half the party didn't get drinks, no cutlery, some of our orders (apps) missing, food delivered at completely different times, no water refill, timing on check... Phew. 3 stars because of good food, and I'd probably go back but only when they're not full to the gills.

Looking for something hot and spicy on a cold day? This is your place! Great soups, appetizers, salads and entrees. How spicy can you handle it? They cook to order, so no worries.

In town for a quick visit and found this place....food was AMAZING and service was great! Not far from the river as well as old town shopping and nightlife. Definitely would go back if I'm in Alexandria again.

Food was great! Lovely outdoor seating. Moderately priced. The restaurant inside did not seem maintained. The staff could be better at communication and service.

Meats were well cooked. Servings were huge in terms of quantity. Drinks were good also. The pad thai wasn’t all that great and left a bad after taste in the mouth. Despite the new year rush, we were attended to well. Has a good view of the waterfront even from a corner seat.

The food is excellent. We choose take away which was packaged wonderfully and was available reasonably quickly from when we phoned in our order.

The food was really good and the drinks were fantastic. We took advantage of the upstairs waterfront view and truly had a good time. The hostess was very kind when entering. The waiter was attentive and kind. 10/10😊

Love Mai Thai. Most dishes are around $15-20 dinner. Food is very good. Parking on the street is hard to find on the weekends.

The flavors are incredible. You can tell they are very Selective in the ingredients they use. I've tried four dishes and they have been consistently good. My favorite Thai restaurant today.
