My favorite French bakery/restaurant in the city. Wonderful assortment of pastries and coffee.

The food was just flawless... We had salmon and macaroni. Really tasty, with perfect saltiness that matters for me. The ambience is really nice too. There is window to back kitchen, I watched for 5 min. Clean with great culture.

Bread is addictive. Very little staff turnover says something good about this place. Not as charming as Le Pan, but service is 200% better. Scrambled eggs are weird.

Excellent place for brunch. Fresh pastries and French creations. Croissant was flaky and buttery. Excellent fillings with generous amount of ham and cheese.

Best location is the one at 76th street 3rd avenue. Best brunch in new york...

I'm from Europe and Boston.. Their coffee gives quite a punch of of energy and definitely better than Starbucks. Their Raisin Coffee Bun, circular and spiraling was the opposite. Cold, old tasting. It is a product that needs to be heated just before serving. Coffee = 10. Raisin Coffee Spiral Bun = 5.1 to 10 scale. Service= = 10.Hard working and courteous team.

Great French bread and beautiful pastries. Great coffee. I haven't had enough pastry to render judgement but they are visual art. As in France the breads derived from wheat or processed white/bleached flour are excellent. Also, as in France, if you want darker, dense whole grain rye bread hop a train to Germany. If you want those darker ryes in NYC try other bakers.

Great french bakery w/ reasonable prices. Some choices of small meals also. Excellent service.

This morning I needed a dazzling cake to make an impact. So many great choices but what would people like? I asked one of the ladies in the front what sells most and was pointed to 2 cakes, one with raspberry filling and the other passion fruit. Since i dont know what they taste like, I asked the young lady, which one she would choose if it were her having it. I chose Rasberry mousse and it was a hit, everyone loved it. Customer service makes the entire experience amazing. Pastries are amazing too.

My first Eric Kayser experience was in Paris, rue de Bac. I bought an almond croissant and began eating it as i walked down the street. Half-way down the block I realized it was so FABULOUS that I did a 180 and bought another! Eric Kayser is always my first and last stop when in Paris. I was so thrilled to see Eric in NYC. Whenever I'm in the city I always bring a box back to Vermont. I can now get my Eric Kayser-fix between trips to Paris! (P.S. Only negative is that he does not make almond croissants in Paris in the winter!)

Amazing Parisian bakery with seating and eating option, delicious breakfast and bakery.

Whilst walking around the Upper west side and Chelsea, I just had to stop by Maison Kayser. I had heard so much about it, and honestly I couldn't stop myself from entering after smelling all the delicious sweets being baked in the cafe. The artisan boulanger serves up a range of sweet breads (mostly) and loaves, along side cakes and other dessert logs. I asked for the most popular variation and was given the white chocolate bread. This was a really delicious sweet treat for the day - lightly crunchy on the outside and deliciously smooth on the inside. Service was also incredibly friendly here, and I loved the advice and opinions they shared about the food with me :)

Excellent environment! I went to get an apple pie; however, it was over. I chose other varieties of personal tarts, and let me tell you that each option I chose was exquisite. I really need to go back to taste the apple tart!
