Main Cafe

Maybe for locals its just the nostalgia of hometown favorite... I read tons of reviews as I always do before eating out and was sucked in by the good comments but my wife and I were unimpressed My blueberry pancakes were really really good but it had a horrible smell and is in dire need of some routine maintenance and updating. I understand historical value but as I've seen elsewhere U can have that and still maintain that and keep the place in good condition Our waitress was nice but seemed to be having g a rough day She was forgetful and turned around which was a bit annoying being that we had just left a stressful situation at the courthouse The silverware looked questionable and the water was so nasty ( tap water? ) that we refused to drink it. It filled the need We were full for a decent price but we won't be returning.

The Main Cafe, probably my favorite breakfast of lunch spot in all of downtown stillwater. The Main Cafe is a fusion of Greek an American cuisine, the food always is good.I reccomend the Eggs Benedict or the homemade meatloaf plater.The Main Cafe is also very family friendly and has a general laid back feel.They also have some of the best waiters around, they're really nice and tend to your needs.Definitely requires a visit by everyone.
