Quality of the sushi is A1. Sometimes rolls are loose and falls apart but taste and originality of each roll takes away that tiny negative element. A little cheap on the wasabi and other condiments even though they charge you they still seem to skim on the quantity. Nice place. Great for take out. All around excellent place for great sushi 🍣 🍣

Excellent staff and service! Love their food. They even have vegan options which is great for me and my gf. I come here every year and it does not disappoint! Will return more frequently 🤗🔥highly recommend

Thank you for being open for take-outs for mother's Day during Covid-19. We spent $140 for diner for 4, avocado was stale black, rice not sticky almost seems like our 4pm order was prepared in the morning. We were still hungry no where near enough food for the price. So much better out there for sushi. In terms of quality and price. Again, thank you for supper but I doubt we will order again .

One of the most upscale sushi restaurants in the west island. Food is excellent, wine menu is well diversified, as well as the spirits. Food oh my God, I can come back every day, but would go broke. High price is justified.

Love this place, have been here many times, never disappointed, always surprised!! The last 2 visits, I love to sit at the bar right in front of the Chef watching them prepare dishes and get ideas of what I want to eat next time was FUN!!

We’ve enjoyed dinner at Maiko Sushi dozens of times and the food is delicious. We have great meals each and every time. The last party was for one of our Colleagues Benjamin. We were approximately 50 people and the dinner was smooth and fun. Great vide great seats and we had a blast. Thank you for the great service and we will be sure to come back soon for our next corporate event.

It wasn't my first time here and I returned because the food is delicious. We started with tempura shrimp which comes with some tempura veggies and we had the house scallops which was also very tasty. We had 2 specials, one with froie gras and Alaskan king crab. Although both plates were very good, we had to order some more rolls. We had the grilled lobster tail roll, the Maiko roll, soft shell crab roll (spider) and smoked salmon and avocado. Staff is attentive and service is friendly. Ambiance warm and relaxed.

I have been going to Maiko for the last 10 years , including the other location on Bernard street and they never disappoint. Always fresh and sooooo tasty. I’ve started doing take out as well since the place is so busy and the food is just as good. I would have given a 5 star rating but every time I do take out, they mess up my order. To be fair, I do ask for small modifications (ex. omit lettuce) to my sushi but still...! Just as a heads up if you’re doing take out, order at least an hour in advance and don’t make any modifications!

Probably the best sushi experience in recent memory.The chef creations are excellent; playful, interesting and creative. And who ever thought the ribsteak would be so delicious at a sushi restaurant?The decor is modern and elegant, and the atmosphere is perfect.Even the music gets better as time progresses through the night.Would highly recommend if you're looking to have a great evening out.

The food was delicious. It lives up to its reputation. The service wasn't exceptional though. We weren't convinced that our meal choice was good, even if we ordered a hundred dollar ( divided by two) plate. The waiter borderline tried to undersell it. We were very happy. We ordered drinks to start the night and wanted to see the wine list later. It was given so late that we didn't order sucks again. We will go back because the food was that good.

Excellent food, fish is always fresh! Amazing service. Great ambiance but music seems to be a little bit loud! Love their specialties! They are always packed so make sure you call and reserve in advanced! Thank you to Ty & Hao, the best waiters; Thuy, Chef Maiko & all of her team!

One of the best sushis I’ve had in Montreal. The fish was very fresh.
