Hands down. The BEST Italian in Indianapolis. No joke. I ate a full meal here once and almost went to Heaven because it was so good. The bread plate and cheese bread is so declicious (and they give you a WHOLE BOWL of parmesan!!!) that I came back a second time specifically for those two items. I unfortunately cannot remember my server's name the first time I was here (late December) but I do know she was a complete gem and very helpful with deciding on which dish to order. Fully intend on coming back for my birthday in March so I can convert everyone to be a Maialina addict.

The best Italian food I've had since Arthur Street in Brooklyn. We all shared a little of our dinners so was able to taste many items. My dish was Sausage and broccolini, a common dish in restaurants on the east coast but you don't see it much in the mid-west. The kale salad was the most unique. Every dish was very good. Very comfortable atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable service staff.

The pasta and meatballs were superb. The staff was so friendly and accommodating esp. Emily. One of us ordered the Salmon with artichokes, a special order. The cooks were so gracious to accommodate our request with the salmon topped by a delicious helping of grilled artichokes.

Very nice Italian restaurant. So far I've tried the Meatballs, Arugula Salad, 3 Cheese Raviolis, Lasagna, Bruschetta 2 diff ways, (Gargonzola Cheese w/honey drizzle & the Tomato Basil combination) Strawberry Tiramisu for dessert. Everything is smothered in red or white sauces, breads are flavorful, cheese is abundant, gluten free pastas are available. Proportioned courses, not a place serving you entree's for 2 & appetizers for 4. Drink menu has beers, wines, cocktails. Only open for dinner I believe starting at 5pm. It's a new Fountain Square restaurant located right under Duck Pin Bowling. I have no complaints so far & they take reservations. 5 stars.

Reminded me of the neighborhood Italian restaurants from the 90's, but in a contemporary space. Growing up with those meant the menu was full of comfort foods. Service was very attentive. Nothing stood out. All in all a solid choice, but not something to go out of your way for.

I went here for Devour Downtown. Had a meatball appetizer, Caesar salad, chicken parmesan, and a strawberry tiramisu. The meatballs and chicken were excellent. Caesar salad dressing had a bit too much fishiness for my personal preference, but for some, fishiness is a good thing, so I don't consider it a negative; that's just the type of Caesar dressing they had. Strawberry tiramisu was also very good. Had a liter of house red, all three in the party thought it was great. I would def come here again. Great experience.

Decent service, overpriced food. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was chill. But my food was definitely not worth 20 bucks and a 45 minute wait. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would recommend going to Maggianos. It’s similarly priced, but the food is made completely from scratch. They also give you a take home entree for free.

There were four of us and we all had a pasta of one sort or another. Everyone enjoyed! The servers were attentive and accommodating. The space is stylish in an understated way. We'll go back.

Hits the spot for comfort food especially on those frequent snowy nights. Portions are generous but not overwhelming. They provided fresh grated Parmesan. The pasta is cooked and flavored well. Had the gnocchi it was well season and perfectly cooked. Wait staff professional and friendly.

This is a great, new restaurant in Fountain Square. The ambiance is very nice and I felt a nice energy. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was very good. I would have given 5 stars but I thought the menu was just a little too traditional Italian. I would have liked a few more unique dishes on the menu. Still, I recommend highly.

I hosted a business dinner of 15 people for my client at Maialina Italian Kitchen. The food and service were both awesome and the bill was extremely reasonable. The private dining area gave us plenty of room to talk but still allowed us to enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant as well as the great aromas coming from the kitchen. We also received personal attention from the owner. The location right on the corner overlooking the fountain in Fountain Square was very convenient for my client, whose offices are near the circle in downtown Indy. If you're tired of taking your clients or business team to the Indy steak houses over and over, this is the place to go.

I've been wanting to try this place since I've seen it pop up on Instagram, finally had the chance to set up a dinner for my 30th bday. Located in the old smoke house in fountain square it's been redone into a classic/trendy lounge style Italian place. Our service was awesome! I love when recommendations are made and dishes are explained.I have to say you must get the aperol spritz, it's the house cocktail and it's awesome, light and refreshing and the largest cocktail they offer.I'm not typically an appetizer person but we decided to get the bruschetta, but it was a non traditional style with hot honey and ricotta and it was amazing, im going to try and make the dish myself. For the main course I had the vongole, a delicious pasta dish with garlic tomatoes and clams. I also had a delicious white wine blend, and to top the whole night off I had a tiramisu on the house as a birthday treat. Awesome experience I can't wait to go back!
