This place is great! The upstairs is really family friendly with toys (for all ages) and a fussball table. Food is really good too. Jess, one of the bartender is incredibly nice.

Mahaffey's has a great selection of American and European (read: Belgian) beers, with a selection that changes on a regular basis (weekly? monthly?). The service is extra friendly. I really must say that this is one of the better Canton bars I've been to.

Mahaffeys is a great neighborhood bar which is far removed from the crazy party scene a few blocks over in Canton Square. The patronage demographic can best be described as a broad spectrum of all age groups who converge here to enjoy good beer in a very relaxed setting. The beer list is always rotating with something new and there is a 100 beer club to uncatalogued those which you have tried. Beer prices, especially the happy hour special is the best in the city. The food is standard pub fare, but they have very good wings courtesy of a variety of local Captain Thom's sauces. Regardless, don't expect anything too fancy on the food end of things.
