Magnolia's On King

Everything is smooth from the very moment you enter this place. The service is immaculate. The interior is beautiful but simple an welcoming. The lights are warm. There was a good guitarist playing unobtrusive but sophisticated tunes. The food is impeccable. The cocktails are originals and extremely well mixed. It was a delicious experience.

I really like the food and drinks served here. Their chicken and waffles was very tasty, though thicker pieces of the chicken ended on the drier side. I have to take a star away though because they have the strangest hours I've ever seen on King street and VERY frequently aren't even open at those times.

This place is a cool hidden gem in the Venetian.Eric was an EXCELLENT server. We were starving and were so glad to get a decently priced sit down meal in Las Vegas. I know it sounds crazy, but this might be the best burger I've ever had in my life.

This place is superb. Perfect spot for a date night. The service and food were both top notch.

Wow! Delicious food and excellent service all around. We had comfortable seating upstairs and exceptional service from a very friendly - but not intrusive - waiter. The four of us at my table each tried a different cocktail and all were really fun. We also ordered some plates: cornbread, bacon wrapped dates, crab dip, and one more item I can't recall. The cornbread was the best I've had in years. The crab dip was spicy and yummy. The bacon wrapped dates were a treat, too, but I was glad to have help finishing those. A crispier version might have brought it more around to my liking. Overall, this establishment was a happy find for us as we made our way down King St, sampling various restaurants. Highly recommend it as a clear favorite.

Food was excellent and the staff were helpful and considerate. We have a small get together in the Christmas season and the owner (whom we did not know) graciously made sure our party was seated at the private room. Even stopped by to say hi. It is a wonderful establishment. Everyone enjoyed the fine cuisine.

Fine brunch, but nothing really special in terms of mood or food.

Had a brunch reservation for a friend's wedding Anniversary. Hostess and staff were nice and helpful. Offerings were standard fare served nicely but not extraordinary. Portions are good and love the quaint Old Town location is ideal for a Sunday Brunch.

Went to Magnolia’s on King for dinner last night with family. We were greeted warmly at the front door and Emily seated us right away. Everything that our party ordered from the drinks to appetizers and dinner were superb. It was a large party and she handled it very professionally.I would definitely recommend Magnolias for any of your dining celebrations while in Old Town. Thank you Emily!

The brunch menu was fantastic! The biscuits are delish! Great ambience and superb service.

Magnolia's on King is my FAVORITE restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, and not just because of the pineapple in the logo. Admittedly, the logo (and my love of all things pineapple) was the initial draw when the restaurant first opened a few years ago. But the food, the beverages, and the service keep me coming back time and again! I have dined here for lunch (solo), dinner (with groups in private rooms), and dessert (with a friend). Each experience was exemplary - food, drink, ambience, and service. I HIGHLY recommend the Old Fashioned and the Shrimp and Grits.

Some elements of excellence, some of average. Good range on menu, varying quality of ingredients, some amazing some average. Not an intimate space, but a comfortable one for casual.

this place is just amazing...the shrimp and grits were delicious and the drinks were delicious i got the was amazing!! i wish there was 10 stars i could have given...Amazing ambience..

Very attentive and friendly hosts! Food was delicious! The mac and cheese was a hit too! Definitely have to have the crab dip!
