Even with long lines, the staff does a great job caring for its customers and ensuring their needs are met. Very large variety of baked goods made fresh, all of the highest quality. Though the prices may be higher than average, the quality and sweetness certainly is worth it!

Beautiful cakes- strongly recommend the key lime cheesecake. Would suggest the staff don’t have great customer skills, but the cake is too delicious to care. Also will never understand the 20% tip for counter service employees who don’t smile or say please or thank you.

Ok. The staff was A++. The reason got four stars instead of five is the bizarre choice of using whipped frosting on the red velvet instead of cream cheese butter cream. BLASPHEMY! The staff helped me out by switching slices, but I waited for that slice of cake four one and a half days. It tasted weird.

Lord I ask that you keep blessing these bakers hands. These are some great confections to eat. Yummy

Delicious cupcakes and ice cream. Lots of fresh cakes. Friendly service. Always very busy because it is so popular! If you like nice Birthday Cakes, then you will find none fresher than here (made from scratch!). Great value for one’s money. Bathroom, seating and wi-fi are available.

It was a LOVELY surprise when we found out there was a Magnolia Bakery in Grand Central. I try to stop by a Magnolia on every trip to NYC, but we weren't sure if we would this time. We got a couple of cupcakes and I finally got to try their banana pudding, which I'd heard was the best. It did NOT disappoint at all. The pudding has a whipped texture, which was unexpected, but quite nice. It wasn't overly sweet, but it wasn't bland either. I'm torn between wanting to learn how to make it & not. If I do, then I don't have to wait for my next trip to NYC to have some. Then again, that can also be a bad thing, cause, you know, not healthy...

Banana pudding was so great as usual, but a cashier who worked at 5:15 p.m. today (jan 12th) was so rude. She laughed at people who were Asians, but she didn't do that to white people. It looked like racism.

Love the bakery and the original location is awesome but OMG the cashier here was SUPER RUDE. I'll stick to the Village, thanks. :-/

I always wonder what was so good about Manolia. Aside from "pretty", neither they held my attention nor care for cupcakes. So I decided to give a try and by my partner his Favorite Coconut cake, and thought to give this bakery a try. Not only was handled terribly, pieces and smushed all over the box, but the cake was dried, the barely coconut filling was anything but coconut. Filled with intolerable sweetener & some coconut shaves, it lacked all flavors except confection sugar. What a mistake I've made! And the cake went straight to the composter! Raccoons will have a fun time high in sugar. NEVER AGAIN. P.SV WANT A REALL GOOD COOCNUT CAKE ? GO TO RALPH's COFFEE shop. Your welcome !

We came here with a list of places to eat and this was one of the top of the list. We al wanted the banana pudding and my son wanted a chocolate chip cookie. We weren’t disappointed at all. The banana pudding is so rich in flavor and the small size we got was just right.

Situated on the lower level of Grand Central Station, it has old-fashioned cupcakes and other pastries.

Decided to try their desserts in NY because we’ve had their banana pudding in LA and it was amazing! Their pumpkin cheesecake was perfect in all aspects! Must try more of their season items!
