Madison Tavern

It's close to Union Station and Ogivile. They offer many choices for the drinks and foods. They have some pretty light stuff (0.4%) for those doesn't really want to drink. Always seems to be crowded around 5PM but you can always squeeze in.

Great place for drinks after work. Very helpful and patient people setting. Helped me pick and taste test before ordering my drinks.

Found this gem while exploring. Bartender was patient and helped us pick beverages to match our food. Great suggestions and we had a laid back chill evening.

Food was awesome! Prime Rib Tacos to die for!! We had our 3 year old granddaughters with us, they did not have a kids menu and you could tell they did not serve a lot of kids. However our waitress made it is kid friendly as possible. They met our granddaughters with their every need. The girls had a grilled cheese with tomato jam. It usually was made with cheddar cheese but they substituted American cheese and the girls loved it. Our waitress was outstanding!! The the server who brought us water and cleared the table was really nice as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Super crowded and expensive happy hour special

Had our company outing here. Roughly 60 people in the enclosed rooftop area. The staff did a great job keeping up with the guests. Bar and buffet food service was seamless. The food was really tasty (suggest the wings). Overall a great experience!

Ordered the Ahi tuna rice bowl, and it came with two tiny pieces of tuna for 18 dollars. Then they try to give me two extra pieces that look like they were pulled out of the 5 day old trash can.

The staff did the bare minimum, except the guy who refilled our water-he was great. The wings were not good. We will not be returning.

Great food and service! Awesome beer selection

Garbage. We walked in, waited to be greeted or seated, neither happened. After a few minutes we just walked up to the bar and sat down. The drinks were strong. I assume to make up for lack of service. The menu was laughable. All of 4 items to chose from. The atmosphere was not inviting, a hole in the wall bar feel, smack in the city and they tried to play that up. It wasn't worth the drink I ordered.

Pretty darn good choice for a quick lunch. Vast menu. Vegetarian friendly. Good chicken burger too.
