I'm giving Mandarin a 2. I was disappointed with my meal seeing that they are rated 4.2Lunch size Chicken and Broccoli with 3 dollar extra Chicken. The brown sauce tasted like soy sauce, water and 3 day old oil. Chicken didn't really have that flavor or texture I was looking for. The rice was clumpy, no real fresh flavor. It was really hard for me to eat half of the meal. I feel like this is what I would have made on my first attempt. Sorry for the negative words but I want more out of a 4.2. The food was hot, very hot 🔥temperature-wise. They did have a Friendly staff, fast service, and avg price.

Home style Chinese food. Tasty and not greasy. My favorite dishes are Bamboo Pork and Shredded Potato Pork, which are like no others.

The best Chinese takeout place I've found in Reston / Herndon. They are fast for lunch and have a surprisingly large menu beyond the standard American favorites.
