My favorite pho. Also love their avocado smoothie. Place is clean and stylish. I have been to this place over 5 times in the past year. Lunch special is $15 including appetizer!

Come hungry because the Madame Pho is huge. Generous cuts of beef, savory broth. The short rib we added to it was so tender. Caramelized pork bun was pretty big too. Make a reservation because it gets busy, unless you don't mind sitting at the small bar.

Great neighborhood place. The Madame Pho is delicious and chock full of fishballs, brisket slices and rice noodles in amazing soup. We shared the spicy chicken wings and the crunchy fried spring rolls. Service was quick and friendly. The servers are attentive but do not hover. The restaurant is long and narrow but the tables are nicely spaced. It is loud and noisy but has a friendly vibe. There are excellent rice dishes too.

I loved the place. I took the grilled shrimps, and it was just amazing. Also recommend the Lychee drink (no alcohol).

Came here with a big group (9 people) and we got the private "room" in the back. We ordered the appetizers Bo Bia (really good), the chicken wings (spicy!), and Madame Vo platter (very involved for consumption). For mains, I got the Bon Ho Hue which was delicious, if a bit spicy. The meat is like Vietnamese version of a cold cut. My compatriots got the Madame Pho with short rib - which was HUGE; they give you a lot of meat, and it's basically falling off the bone. It's great value for the price.Overall, amazing food and great dining experience. My friend is a good blogger and says the owners are incredibly nice too. Would come again!

Born and raised in France, I have been exposed to lots of Vietnamese food. It is actually my favorite type of foods. This was my first time at Madame Vo and everything was simply amazingly delicious. Relatively cheap for a New York restaurant and definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant I ever visited: flavorful, delicate and fresh. I can’t wait to go back to New York, I will definitely go back and recommend to every one who is picky for both quality and taste.

Questions & Answers

Vietnamese food in general is difficult to be made vegan because it's meant to be cheap and fulfilling and unfortunately vegan options/substitutes are too costly. Vegan vietnamese food would be interesting to see but I can imagine it wouldn't be as tasty

Hi Stefan, Yes, we reserve part of the restaurant for walk-ins. If there is a wait upon your arrival we can take you phone number and send you a text when a table does become available.
